Just returned my OnePlus 12, im coming from Xiaomi mi 11 lite, and believe me the display on Xiaomi lite it's was much better only with hes 800 nits, OnePlus its 1600 nits up to 4500 but my device it was very dark on sunny day , maybe it 2as defective I don know, ahh one more thing, on OnePlus glass you can't see all your fingers dirty, Xiaomi nothing i really don't know ot tioe off glass it was but today i givet back

Check with the particular model you want to buy. Not all models will have. And if you take my suggestion don't fret too much about these things. Your needs and budget vs available devices. Zerodown on a couple of devices and then go for it.

Hands on xiaomi 14..the camera belongs to something of other class..crafted with passion....xiaomi 14 with xiaomi pad 6 is very dynamic ecosystem..i bought one + 12 and one plus pad and xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 6 pad within 5 days....as i wanted an alternate ecosystem from my primary apple ecosystem of iphone 15 and i pad air...only thing that bothers me is xiaomi 14 has very early heating issues...with medium level load ...it is noticable...but overall comparaed if heating issues are taken care of...the xiaomi 14 and xiaomi pad 6 ecosystem is very good...
I do have a Xiaomi pad 6 and with the Xiaomi 14 it works pretty well 👍

Techniqued channel has video on Xiaomi 14 throttling test where after 15 mins on performance mode it was 85%
Yes. Performance mode was on for all the tests.
@@ArunNadig_Tech-Videos interesting, seems like it allows max performance ignoring temperature increase and then suddenly throttles when the temperature gets too high. So maybe in balanced mode it should do better? It needs to be fixed because it's a shame to throttle like that having such powerful cpu
Iqoo 12 seems better than both Xiaomi 14 and OnePlus 12 in terms of handling throttling
@revanchdg Yes. Unfortunately, even in balanced mode, it throttles, and temperature also gains but a bit lesser compared to performance mode.

Honestly, both are excellent devices. If given a choice, I will choose OP 12 for software experience and ontime updates. Apart from that the display, the battery, speakers, haptic feedback and even cameras are excellent ( just a step behind S24 series)

It is definitely a flagship device from Xiaomi for India. But heats up a bit when you run some heavy apps or gaming. Other than that its a great device.
You missed software updates.. although they claim 4 years of major updates I doubt they will give frequently like op12..take for example it is still running on Jan patch and it's their flagship device 😂

Wondering if i should fix my s22 ultra's display (300€) or upgrade to one of these ... any opinions?
S22 Ultra is still a great device. If you can get the display fixed for a better deal than 300€ then you can definitely keep using it. Again if you can get a great exchange deal on your old device then instead of investing 300€ for replacing the display you can go for any of these. Personally I would go with OnePlus mainly for it's bloatware free experience and ontime software updates compared with Xiaomi 14

Both are pretty good for gaming. But iPhone 15 Pro Max costs you 2.5 time more than OnePlus. If you have that budget, then iPhone will give you slightly better visual experience in gaming

Both under normal usage performs excellent. But under heavy usage OnePlus 12 definately performs better for an extended period of time.

OnePlus 12 is better for gaming. Xiaomi gives you better performance initially but heats a lot and the level of performance will not be the same as the inital 10min.

How bad is the heating issue?
Xiaomi 14 heats up only while playing games for more than 20 min or working on some heavy apps or using cameras for long a long time. Otherwise, it will work absolutely fine.
Did you see any ads on xiaomi 14 ?
If you setup properly and deselect all the unwanted options while setup, you will hardly get any. But you will get notificationf from get apps, app scanner and few others. And some you can disable
Mi 14 how has the battery life been,
Batter life is excellent. On normal day to day usage, you will easily get more than 8 hours of SOT.
