Thanks for this review/comparison. The two lines look very different; they should have a different name. I decided to try the crossbody in black and I did watch Amber’s very helpful review. I’m skeptical about the “non-base” but seeing her load it up helped. I might try it with a bag organizer. Great to see you!!

Thank you soo much for doing this review/comparison. The newer lightweight backpack was on my radar and I wanted to make sure my 14" laptop would work in there. You video really helped me! It has amazing capacity, while still having a small thin profile!

Thank you! Yes I did. Not because I disliked it. But because I purchased a small Vera suitcase last year and that (along with a duffel bag) will be my choices for when I travel. I had too many bags and unfortunately the featherweight one was on the list to go.
@@potatopeach111 I completely understand. I wish I would have known that you sold a lot of your bags. There were so many I really liked. The featherweight travel bag is one I'm looking for a long time now. I go through phases too. Right now I'm more into Kipling for example. Usually I'm more a Vera girl.

So glad to see you back! 😄 I’ve missed ur videos. This type of bag isn’t really my style, but the fact that it comfortably fits a 13” mac pro is very tempting! It’s so hard to find a small/medium sized bag that can fit a 13” laptop. I wish we could ‘rent’ bags, in order to try them out w/o actually buying it 😅
Very true! Backpacks like that are rare. I would’ve given this one extra points if it had a dedicated padded sleeve to slip the laptop inside. I don’t love the idea of my laptop just floating around inside with no other protection. But it’s still a nifty bag. You could always buy and return as long as there’s no wear or tear on the bag. Love your new hair cut. I’m shocked you got rid of a lot of your bags. Curious did you keep your VBU’s? I know how much you always said you loved them. I know I should go through all my Vera’s and lugs and get rid of what I don’t think I’ll use. I have so much! And spent soooo much money!
Thank you! The VBUs definitely stayed. They are absolute staples in my collection and I’ll likely never part with them! I hear you. I’m annoyed sometimes when I think of how much money I spent on Vera in the past. But it’s a journey! Keep what you want and part with what doesn’t make you happy anymore.

Great video (love your hair, so beautiful!), very informative and really confirming what I'd already thought about this new Featherweight collection: not really for me I'm afraid 😞
What really bugs me (and I mentioned this also at the video by Amber) is that weird quilted stitching that seems to disappear the moment the bags get filled. The lining stretches I suppose and the quilting becomes like flat... You also see it at the 'puffy' straps. As soon as there's some weight to it, the puffyness disappears and the straps look thin.
Also those seatbelt straps on the crossbody are not appealing at all and I know they will cut into the skin bc that's what happens in the car as well. That material is just cheap looking, I'm sorry to say and it troubles me that VB chooses to go into such a direction with one of her collections and with those prices...😞
But... that's me. If you like those puffy bags then I guess it's a different story 🙂
Also I'm with you when it comes to looking at your collection with a fresh outlook. I'm also doing that at the moment to see if there's items I really don't use but just bought bc of the emotion behind it, the love for a certain pattern of how it looks. So thanks for your sharing this, that's really helpful!
Thank you so much! This is a great point you’re making. I went back and looked at the pics I took of this bag and the clips where it’s filled and you’re right. It’s not a great look. And I am always annoyed that we get less features/quality at a higher price these days. That’s why I’ve been leaning on other brands like Lesportsac and Baggallini for my everyday purse styles. Their quality and features are great. The past few years, that’s one of the reasons why I was buying so many bags - the emotion/fear of missing out. Something happened last year and that’s all changed for me. I have no attachment to keeping things I won’t use/love. Thanks for your comment and for watching! ❤

Thanks so much! I actually sold a bulk of my collection through Instagram stories. I figured that would be the easiest/quickest way for me to part with these types of items since all of my followers on there are bag fans. I hear you! I’m sure there will be a sale soon :) I was selling them via my Instagram stories on my bag page. thank you! I went to a hair salon for the first time last week and had it professionally done. My mom used to cut my hair growing up and then I have been cutting it through adulthood. Which worked perfectly. But decided to try something new. I am going to start using products recommended by the stylist which include Miche Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner, and for styling purposes, Ouidad Hair Gel. I also bought a hairdryer and diffuser but I’ll probably be too lazy to use it 😂 thanks for watching! ❤

I got the triple zip hipster crossbody and the zip id in that pattern when it went on sale. I ordered off Amazon. The triple zip hipster crossbody is way better in performance twill.
