DIY Halloween Costumes | Simple and Easy Homemade Ballerina and Ghost Costumes for Kids

- Nova-Laine wants to be a ballerina and Roman wants to be a ghost! Two of the simplest Halloween costumes to make at home!
For the ballerina costume, all I did was cut a strip of elastic to go around her waist, then sewed the ends together. Then, I cut tulle into long strips, and looped them around the elastic. I added a lot to make the skirt really poofy and fluffy!
The ghost costume was tricky at first, but once I read instructions it worked well! I just folded some fleece fabric in half and measured Roman from one hand over to the other. Then, I measured from the top of his shoulder to the floor. I marked the measurements and then cut one side of the oval, folded to over to the other side and cut the rest of the oval. After that, I cut and tied strips around the edges, and cut a hole in the center for his head!
These costumes were so much fun to make, and they both turned out sooo cute!!!
Honestly, Nova is absolutely adorable! We don't see much of the girls, so I had no idea there was this little bundle of joy among the children. They're all darling, for sure!
I have so many great memories of my mom making our costumes when we were young, I love looking back at the pictures. Your kids are so lucky to have an amazing and involved mom ❤️

I dont celebrate Halloween because of satan ...but we do book character day instead...you get the kids to be motivated by reading and the characters in the book and they get to wear costumes to match their characters...
So cute. But we shouldn’t celebrate Halloween. By celebrating it it meant giving your children to Satan. So I never celebrate them. God bless you and your family. ☺️
