I love Collings Guitars. Wish I had been able to get to know Bill better. I need to go see Steve and tour the shop. I think they are in a new place from back when I last visited in ‘05 or so. Great video, btw! I need to play a T and a Waterloo. I might be able to afford a Waterloo these days! LOL!

Bill and the team craft the finest instruments in the world. I'm fortunate enough to be the lucky 'guardian' of two Collings guitars. Thanks for the passion.

Superb talk by Steve. He really nailed the whole Collings and Waterloo work ethic and the genius of Bill Collings. When I think of Bill Collings, I think of one thing, endless passion for his craft.

Collings and Waterloo are GREAT guitars. Artisan is a GREAT store. I've worked in the audio / video world for many years. I'm not here to watch a slick piece of production. I'm her for the content, not the packaging. The packaging is just fine.

I don't much like responding to negative comments, but...
If you give up on a video because of low rez, I'm guessing you don't listen to many historic jazz or blues recordings. I got out a decent pair of headphones (not ear buds) and it sounds fine to me. I hope you aren't thinking the sepia tone segments are "low rez".
And John B... I won't go into personal stuff, but if you think Bill Collings designed and built the Waterloo line to grab a bigger part of the market, then you don't know anything about the man. Steve wasn't kidding when he said they've gotten very positive feedback from the likes of Bill Frisell and Julian Lage. I have a friend who has multiple guitars, pretty much all high end, who bought a Waterloo and loves it. They aren't a guitar that speakess to me, but to think they are low rez or not deserving of respect, I flat out disagree. By the way, I prefer D1As.
I'm guessing you play. What's your guitar of choice!
