Hi Shashi bhai…good to see a real world milega test of Kiger in Bangalore traffic condition. Booked and Planning to buy same variant in few days. Saw your other videos on Kiger, it gave me more confidence to go ahead with my decision, hope I will not regret on my decision in future.

Hi Bhai, congratulations for booking a new car. Please just let me give you a few suggestions from my side as you mentioned that my video has given you the confidence to buy Kiger CVT. 😊
Let me set the tone of these sentences first. Kindly keep smile on your face and read below. 😊😊
Please follow the below rules 100% to maintain your car nicely and to extract the best possible mileage. In my mileage test scenario, traffic was slow but apart from 2 signals, my car did not have to stand still anywhere. It just kept on moving slowly and steadily. If the car will stand still anywhere, mileage drops faster. And this applies to any automatic car and some extent to Manual cars as well. Please always remember that we are talking about the segment in which we have Nexon AMT, Venue IMT, Sonet AMT/DCT, Magnite AMT, Breeza CVT etc.
So the planning to reach the signal, observing the stop time at the signal , applying slow brake are some of the important thumb rules to get the mileage in any car. Except Nexon diesel, and hybrid cars, no car in this segment gets more than 9-10-11 kmpl mileage. But I do get very good mileage for some of the below reasons. Please try to follow them:
      1. Keep enough time to reach the destination.
      2. Apply a slow brake.
      3. Go easy on throttle.
      4. Controlling the emotion.
Now please must avoid the below point except when it is really necessary:
      1. Launching the car
      2. Sudden throttle while the car is in the move.
When you apply a sudden brake, that means you have not used the oil efficiently which has already burnt or burning because of more throttle you had given to give the momentum of the car. If you have given the throttle, let that oil be consumed properly until it's moving the car. So basically what I want to say is try to efficiently use everything in your car.
Extracting mileage is an art. We need to learn it over a period of time. Keep your car in one hand. Don't give it to anyone else to drive it. Keep observing the realtime mileage (it looks like thermometer on console). This will help you to understand that how are you throttling your car.
      Few example:
That Altroz which you saw in the starting of the video is of my friend who was sitting in my car with me. He hardly gets mileage of 17-18 kmpl on the highway. He wanted to get the clutch plate checked in his car. I drove his car from my home to my office one day. He also works with me, in my team. I got 17kmpl within the city that day. It's a petrol manual car. He was shocked. Now he is trying to slowly improve his throttle style.
      2. One of my friend owns a Nexon petrol manual. He was not getting the mileage more than 15kmpl on the highway. I drove his car from my town to Siliguri (some 220kms) and I got a mileage of 19 kmpl. And even I was driving at a 90-100 kmph speed.
So it's very important to evaluate that how we throttle the car and how we plan the brake by looking far.
So the last 2 examples are from manual cars. AMT/CVT/DCT will always give 2 kmpl less mileage compared to Manual transmission.
CVT is fun to drive car. Enjoy occasionally and rest of the time be gentle with the throttle. 😊 You will get a good respectable mileage with this car. 😊
And when needed you can give a shock and surprise to some very powerful cars on the road. Trust me, it's a very powerful car. Don't go by the number on paper. The power to weight ratio means it's not 152NM torque but it's close to 190NM torque. I put the car in Sport mode and have embarrassed many big cars on the road but only at the speed upto 100-110 kmph. Beyond that I do not try because it's my car. 😊 If you wish you can go up to 160kmph which I have done a couple of times in the past but would not suggest anyone to try it regularly. It's neither safe for us nor for car transmission. 😊 In one or 2 weeks I will upload a video in which I have driven my car in a tricky hilly condition and some open highway. You must watch those video to feel happy that your are going to own CVT Kiger. 😊 I literally enjoyed this car in the hills. 😊
      .
Please let me know if you need any other suggestions or help from me. 😊
Welcome to our Kiger family. 😊

Bhai…incredible 😊, I can’t believe that you spent so much time to share all these informations with me on social media on one simple appreciation message. Aap Mahaan hai bhai😊. I must say that you are a pro driver but unfortunately I am just learning the ABCD of car and driving and Kiger will be my first car. I would love to connect with you to get more knowledge of cars and driving and I guess that is possible since I am also staying in Bangalore in Sarjapura Road which is not so close to your home but at least close to your office at ORR. It will also help me to get clarification on few doubts related with Kiger. Please let me know if there is a way to connect, may be virtually at least.

      @shashiroy83  Před 3 měsíci

It's normal in Renault Cars. You can check it in NA, Turbo, Kiger and Triber. The heat indicator will reach that last but one point within a few kms and remain there until outside the weather is extremely hot.
Thanks for watching the vlog 😊

Maine upgrade kar liya Renault Kiger CVT me. Thodi badi car chahiye thi. Space ka issue ho raha tha. Aur ek proper automatic car bhi chahiye thi. Thoda power bhi jyada chahiye tha highway par overtaking ke liye aur hill climbing karne ke liye. 😊 Abhi abhi Maine 5600 kms ka lamba trip lagaya tha Kiger CVT me.
