I was bullied a lot in secondary school between 2008 to 2013 mainly due to my weight and being autistic. The teachers didn't give a sh-t. I was even close to self harming on numerous occasions. That's how bad it was the only time they did something was when decided to fight back and get into fights and they always got away with it and I got the blame.
They have hundreds of kids to care of and are often overworked and under-appreciated - I think its unfair to say they don’t care when most do their best especially given the hoops they have to jump through to help in any meaningful way
I’d fight for Mason to be taken to jail.
Sorry to say this, but teachers (especially Heads) haven’t got a clue.
Deep down, all bullies are cowards. Nobody ever deserves to be bullied by anybody, but kids always think that it is their own fault that they are being bullied at school.
I felt as if it was the schools fault for me personally
It is such a shame that so many people always have such bad memories of their school years. Loads of people remember their school days as an unhappy time.

Don’t even watch Corrie anymore well apart from here anyway but well done Gary btw! Now I get that height doesn’t really matter that much when it comes to fights or scraps and I’m fairly tall myself, I’m about 5’11. Gary Ik is about 5’7 ish but Mason has to be about what 6’0 maybe?? It’s just an example of not to judge a book by its cover you know? Yes, Gary isn’t the biggest in height but as soon as he started getting physical with Mason he shat himself!
Weight plays a factor too; you can be 6’0 and weight 70kg and someone can be 5’8 and weigh 80-90kg so height isn’t actually the biggest factor

I seen that one guy said on one of the comments that the actor who plays Mason is only about 5’9 but judging from this video I think he’s quite a bit taller than that, 5’11-6’0 at least. Gary has experience when it comes to fighting and self defence especially due to the fact that he was in the army many years ago now. Difference with Gary and Mason is that although Gary is short he knows how to fight and defend himself. Mason is just a coward who thinks he’s tough when really he’s just a wee wimp!

@@chandansimms9167 well he does though, he stood up to Mason a few months ago when knocking his phone out his hand before pulling some sort of knife on him trying to scare him and he got Dylan up against a wall when he called Liam a loser but Liam has been very badly bullied by these two boys and the rest who have joined in at certain times and I think that as upsetting as the storyline is these are very important messages to get out there because bullying happens to young kids and teenagers every day!
