I Bought an ELECTRIC TRICYCLE in China - Full Review of the JinPeng SUPER E-Bike

- I made a HUGE purchase recently. My family has been in need of a reliable mode of transportation, and after looking around, I bought a JinPeng Super Electric Tricycle. This JinPeng ebike has everything my family needs to get around, and also transport the items we need on a day to day basis. It even has a blazing top speed of 15mph (25kph). In China, going faster isn't always the best choice anyway. Watch my full review!

What happens when it breaks down, where do we get parts?
Personally, I will take it to the dealer I got it from, but any bike shop around me could probably take care of it. It will be different depending on where you live. If you live in China, you have many options.

JINPENG is the largest electric tricycle manufacturer in the world, this model has EEC certification, all raw materials are through inspection, it has top quality, it's impossible for these problems, only one reason is you bought second-hand with 4300CNY price. Also JINPENG have same model with wind-shield and some roof.

nice job Matt, I've heard of Ohio I have a sister in law from Mansfield. On branding, a very long time ago, my dad took me on one of his buyers trips to a battery plant *that one plant had stickers for over 300 brands that they made right there/ of course the ones he was buying at that time were deep cycle batteries to run floor cleaning machines for an entire shift (Kent a division of Electrolux) I seems like the brands in China are mostly making the same designs, sometimes with the same parts/ or production tooling clones or copies, and with improving quality concepts from ISO9000 etc. (and getting better all the time) Things can be cheap, but they still have to meet the consumer expectations (or exceed them). I've only been to Zhu Hai China so far, (but all over Taiwan) hope to visit some more of China some time in the future. (well I stayed in Hong Kong on my Zhu Hai trip)

I think 3 wheels is the way to go for electric "cycles". They solve the problem of battery space.

Hello I am a senior citizen who suffers from lung and heart issues. I very much miss my independence. Being able to go simple grocery shopping without relying on people who are focused on their life. Who has no time for me. There have been times that I went without eating for days because I lack the mobility to walk the distance four blocks down.. How much is your scooter If my income can fit in the purchase I am interested in purchasing one right away. Also I live in a very large senior citizen village. I am adsolutely positive once my neighbors see me getting around in this beautiful scooter they would also buy one

I actually looked at JinPeng's small cars. They run on gas and electricity. They were a bit too expensive, but they said I could drive it without a license. If that's true, that's pretty cool!

It was fully assembled when I bought it. Went to a "dealership" place that sold them.

I find the transportation in China as a whole to be much more convenient! It helps that scooters aren't way overpriced like in America as well.

I wish I was able to recommend something to you in America. The best I can do is suggest you look on Google for something similar. I reviewed this from China, so the pricing and availability is very different here. I hope you are able to search out and find something that meets the needs of your community!

As far as I know, they should be sold everywhere in China. Since I bought mine in a very small town, and they are one of the largest manufacturers in China, this would make sense.
It's holding up very well, only a few small issues that haven't detracted from the purchase at all.

Just a heads up. Might want to check with the Haikou government (or wherever you live) on rules on ebikes. I know in the bigger cities that only smaller ebikes are allowed. My city is super small, so the regulations are very different. Hope you find what you need!
