I believe the rave I went to back then was called "One Nation" - Musically and Vibes... it was a Madness... in a Great Way... there was No Trouble (that I witnessed) in Garage/Jungle Raves... these was the times Brockie and MC Det was killing it... I'm talking Massive Crowd... Everyone in the Rave Dancing... Massive Speakers... People Dancing on top of the Speakers... Yes, People would Climb Up and 'Dance On Top of the Speakers' - Great Times. Yes... Frisco... don't ever conform... the Music Industry always try to put people in a Box... Make the Music You Want to Make.

Nah, West London started the Music thing first with Roots Reggae with bands like Aswad going mainstream. General Levy is from North West and dropped “Incredible” which is a Jungle classic and you have Soul II Soul from North London. Smiley Culture is from South London, search for him. A lot of people only thinks that this Black U.K. Music scene only started in 2001 lol.

So solid started the garage rap ting though!
So Solid members were either MC’ing or Melody rapping. Pay As U Go however came with solid MC’ing flows from DnB/Jungle or Chattin’ like Dancehall Artiste, which is why So Solid couldn’t touch PAUG. I still have a set from Delight FM where Wiley and Flow Dan were going back to back. Asher D, Mega etc couldn’t keep up lol. That’s why Grime started in East London.

@12Tribes Remember not all Pay As U Go members had that Ragga flow. Major Ace, Wiley, Plague came from Jungle as well as Maxwell D, Flow Dan and Gods Gift. Heartless used to emcee to DnB/Jungle as well, so UKG was easier to fit in bars because the tempo is slower. Several members of So Solid did a emcee x rap flow, but they couldn’t clash Heartless or Pay As U Go. Heartless were the most dangerous on stage and Pirate Radio. So Solid members were good, but didn’t last in the scene, which is why they went to do Hip-Hop.

@12Tribes Do you know about MC Vapour, PSG or CKP? Asher D and Romeo came along after those that I mentioned. So Solid as a collective had members with melody rap, but know that Heartless Crew came before So Solid and didn’t just have three members. So Solid were just the ones that went commercial with their style of emceeing.
