- here's how to stand out as an asian guy
I'll go over what to get good at, how good you need to get, and how to get good at these things.
Make sure to do the actionable steps I go over or you won't make progress!
Cheers

Im black but im watching this. all of your advice is pretty good.
yooo same
appreciate the support & hope it helps!
Same I have no idea why I'm getting this recommended
Same 💀
I'm a latina & this is pretty good advice.
I'm not even a dude and I'm not even Asian, but this advice is so straightfoward. This is a goldmine. I'm even hyping up this video to my other female friends because they struggle with social skills. My big issue is fashion and career. But I could definitely work on everything here. Thanks man.
The tdee calculator and advice about using pinterest starting out is so helpful
glad I could help!
this video is well made. i like how there's no unnecessary intro, background music, etc. i also like the advice, everything is on point.
The analogy at the end and the Maplestory reference is so Asian and relatable. I love that so much. Subscribed
Thanks for being straightforward and not wasting time. :D
You are a super clear communicator man. Love the explanation finished up with an actionable step. Def working on all these aspects. Month by month we're making progress! Edit: lmaooo i just got to the demon slayer analogy XD
Wow thank you for putting these ideas into such a concise form, very straightforward and entertaining way. I loved this whole video and you’ve definitely got my subscription.
I really appreciate the last section with the life platform/pillar graphic.
As someone with adhd tendencies it’s difficult to keep track of priorities, especially if there are no deadlines.
This way of looking at it gives me a better sense of how to stay grounded and balanced.
i see these looks maxing videos all over CZcams but there have never been any targeted for Asian men. I am happy that I’ve came across this channel!
this video just gave me a confidence boost bc as a 17 year old i already think that my fitness, hair, skin and fashion is alright, and i have a job and i drive so yeah i think im doing pretty good.
that's awesome, keep up the good work!
Ur doing better than me and im 18 😅
Hey dude your advice is so great. You deserve more views.💪
I agree with this list but I would say:
1. There's a sixth pillar for more feminine things like cooking, playing the piano, being cultured, dancing. It's not as important as the other pillars though, but it's worth spending time on this after excelling at the other categories.
2. Cold approaching people is good practice but I feel like it's not the natural way of progressing socially and can be daunting. Usually people improve their social skills through friend/work groups, parties, events, meetups for hobbies, team sports, the nature of your job. It's also a better way of integrating into society/communities.
Both good points, I think point #1 can be categorized similarly with career/social skills in that it adds depth to your character past physical traits. Your point about friend/work groups is also true, but with a lot of events/parties, even friends of friends are technically strangers and so being able to talk w/ strangers is important & cold approaching is like a super boost to improving that.
Nah, I think cold approaching gives something that none of those other things gives, it removes your sense of security, and gets you to feel comfortable doing the uncomfortable
cold approach literally changes my whole life@@DanielGoldaux
i've never felt like these from 18 years of living lol
Wt heck man, I can cook and play piano both are male dominated. There’s nothing feminine about it 😭
@@overlyfatman9722 Even dancing is more masculine than cooking lmao. Dancing is about showing off your body moving various ways to a rhythm, while cooking is ultimately servile, no matter how fancy you are about it.
brooo youre about to hit 5 K i just found ur channel and its really good thanks bro
Hello ...wanna be friends?
Loving the frequent uploads bro great video as per
yessir appreciate u brotha
Great tips man. Thank you!
Bro the picture of you smiling is so funny for some reason 😂
🙂👍
You had me relate with those gaming analogies, leveling up and adding attributes to self. 😂 Thank you for the advice. A lot of great points well-said.
Damn what a high quality video. Thanks for the tips! You’ll go big later for sure
thanks for the support!
So just be good at everything.
Thanks my guy this really helped me out 👍🏿👍🏿
Solid advice. Thanks for this vid man 🙏
does not matter maintain hygine have really good talking skill like butter like talking
Solid solid advice bro. This is great. Subbed!
I would like to add that guys should start with fitness. Something about when that gets sorted out, things fall into place quicker.
hey man, just want to send you a comment to express my thanks for these advices. You are sure know things and I feel happy that this video finds me at this time of my life (I have completed my weight loss journey, get good jobs (2), I'm working on my fashion & gloom, etc), this vid helps me get things organized and know what my next move should be.
Hope you are doing well bro, cheers!
Power introvert here. Definitely can relate to the mental block with regards to talking with strangers
Lol the CS major thing is so accurate, in my cs classes the class rep had to write up an announcement to tell mfs to shower 🤢. Im a tall mixed black white guy but a lot of the points in this, while "obvious" are important and I like how you made it actionable. I def know a few ppl who desperately need these tips. Atm im still tryna work on social skills, as much as I've gained confidence as an introvert, I still hate small talk and my social battery gets drained pretty fast.
you'll get there bro just gotta keep leveling up
No way you have to be kidding
what
y u call me out lik dat brah
i wish i was, there are some degenerate mfs in college its sad @@sambuck8710
Once I graduated college & got my first job soon after at the start of 2020, for whatever reason I started developing plenty of cystic acne around my chin, jaw & cheek areas. I mean I've had cystic acne before, but it was never this bad. Idk what caused it, maybe it was because that was my first 1st shift job ever, or since it was my first IT job, it was the stress, or maybe it was depression because me & some girl stopped talking, but It was super downbad about going to work everyday like that. That was right before the pandemic hit too, so they started requiring mask, which I think also contributed to my acne. I was a bit relieved when the pandemic hit & we were fully remote then. During that time, I decided to give up soda, even when I go to a fast food, I would just ask for bottled water with my meal. And I also started using La Roche Posay, & I think it helped. My facial skin isn't amazing, but I'm content with it. I'll get a pimp here & there, but it'll never be that bad & I don't think I had a cyst in a while. At first I was doing the full La Roche Posay routine, but got lazy & now I just use the face watch. I'll use the other products from the routine every now & then when I see a pimple or feel like I'm breaking out, & it works for me.
I've never imagined myself watching this type of videos before but you know people change, Even though im really thankful for the tips❤
Let's keep it real. You made a guide without beating around the bush. Everyone's here, just loving you for the fact that you got straight to the point.
Definetly the type of thing I like. Keep that up.
Im Just a simple pale german btw.
Vid popped out recommended to me, decided to give it a watch and thanks for the advice! Was really thinking of working on myself, for the past year I've been feeling in the dumps for a while haha, the 4th pillar is definitely hard for me covid just made an introvert, want to approach people and make new friends but it's hard irl than online but I'll try my best!! I'll most likely struggle with fashion and social skills :((
Im not even human and this helps me a lot thanks
Literally the best advice
taking notes
Thanks brother, this is a W video
Hi I just want to say I accidentally stumbled on your channel and I find your content is really high quality. As an asian guy this is very helpful. Keep on doing what you are doing. Suscribed!
appreciate the support!
Yessir, another one!
Having a huge physically defining trait kind of holds me back, but the tips are pretty good thanks
Thank you so much Timothy! I like that you made some actionable steps, so that we the viewers can act on it immediately, I also like how simple you've laid it out for us viewers, by making some easy to understand metaphors to show the importance of an action! God bless your channel!
glad it was helpful, thanks for watchin
As a raccoon, I needed this information, thanks
It's cool to know that there's another asian guy named Timothy out there
bro your advice of using a basic attack and then adding buffs WITH the demon slayer inserts. i was dying laughing but you make so much sense lmaooooo
balance is the real important one people rarely mention.
as a latino man I hope I can stand out as an asian man after watching this
thanks for thinking about us asains ❤
Really good info!
Looking forward to seeing you rise up and see your channel make it bro!
thank you bro I appreciate the support!
right on, brotherham!
Thank you bro for these infos. You got a fitness routine what kind of physique you got?
Man those brows been looking at them the entire time.
I'm New Zealand European. But my gosh I find Asian Men gorgeous!
And most importantly, have confidence. No matter if your the Adonis amongst men or just human. A man who can laugh at himself and look up at the sky and say “F*ck it.” Is if not the most charming and human things someone can do, flawed but still human. Be yourself, away from stereotypes, mental health, insecurities and impurities, once you realize that you’re truly are your own individual, everything, and everyone seems to make sense.
“If you change yourself, your surroundings and your future changes alongside you.”
Bro's maplestory armor set shows he's a real one xD

Hello, can you do some video about Hong Kong 80s to 90s outfit? They actually look cool and nice, it feels like never get old, just become more unique to me
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAHHHHHHH WOOOOOO GREAT VIDEO
hog ridaaaaa
ngl im doing these 5 things and have been on like 70ish dates in the past year in NYC but still havent had much success finding a S.O
Im 5'11", 28 y.o AM make top 1% in America, 0.1% for my age group, 6.75" down under, went to a top 20 school and have masters, I would say I have top 5 percentile skin, above average in looks, naturally ISTJ so that hurts my odds as I sometimes have trouble making conversations more smooth and less awkward but have worked on that quite a bit (alc helps!), I would say top 25% in terms of body/fitness? im definetely not a casual lifter anymore having worked out consistently for 10+yrs, and definetely spent a lot on researching fashion and upgrading my wardrobe, also I take high quality DSLR pics so its easy to get matches and go on dates.
personality seems to be a huge thing holding me back, also it hurts since i have high standards haha
Also its not easy looking for something serious in NYC with so many options
Bro started explaining things in RPG mechanics hahahahahah
Well done bro this is helpful
as a white guy i can confirm this will make me stand out as an asian guy 💯
I’m white but i don’t know why we’re subjecting “all Asian guys” to a monolith. If he’s hot and well kept… he’s that and also happens to be Asian.
To all asians, from an asian, remember the most important thing when you're trying to get a good personality is being a nice person overall.
1. People cater to nice people, cool and uncool people alike and connections you make age better.
2. Remember that you represent all us asians, the ones that came before and comes after.
3. You give asians in the west a good role modell of an asian person actually living in the west. Most of our role modells growing upp were probably jackie chan, goku or buakaw whom all didn't live in the west.
You might have had a great interaction with someone but if you're not a nice person, that's going to rot your social life.
I remember watching these kinds of videos when i was single. But now im happy and at peace.
happy to hear that bro but don't get complacent, always gotta keep growing
I am not a human but lm watching this. all of your advice is pretty good
6th pillar: change smoke alarm batteries
I think I have allat that but it's just my eyebrow haha, like I groomed but idk how to rlly shape my eyebrow so it looks natural. Like I got thick eyebrow
just checked out my TDEE and all along i am on the right track of maintenance with 1500~ calories a day !
1. Get a dog, now u win the comptition
To every Asian dude who’s skeptical about following this videos principals, you DO NOT need to change your core personality and aspirations to achieve this. That being said you should aim to strike something of a balance between all 5 in some way while also forming your own little nuance. For example, i’m a British-Filipino bloke (raised in Essex, England) and I live in NYC.
A year ago after a particular nasty breakup that did a number on my mental health and self esteem for a few minutes I went through a bona fide villain era (fucking hate saying that unironically 😂 ), I started investing in my fitness and physique again (through a clean and lean diet, Boxing, Muay Thai and daily 1 hour cardio), switched my aesthetic by virtue of two small silver piercings, experimenting with jewelry and a wavy/loose curly perm to my grown out hair, invested in skincare products me and i adopted a quiet luxury/pretty boy wardrobe, and wear quarter zips and khaki trousers/pants now, and of course the British Accent was nothing short of a piece de resistance when it came to dating here in the states lmao.
In terms of my career I’m currently aiming for a switch up towards the public sector.
The point is, it was only a year ago I was like all the skeptics and neighsayers when it came to switching up my brand for the sake glowing up.
It’s been a year since and stepping out of my proverbial comfort zone and changing up my looks, aesthetics, values and priorities has honestly changed my life for the better
All the while I’m still the same homesick essex boy from Wickford, now living in America, who watches premier league football on Sundays and craves nandos 24/7, I’m just riding the high of emerging Asian male aesthetics and leveraging every aspect of my roots to my advantage.
W bro this is awesome, thanks for sharing & keep up the good work
@@timhu69 no worries mate! Just trying to share my perspective and impart a bit of advice to everyone else going through the motions!
This isn't for everyone but make up is genuinely a game changer for me bro. Got a lot of compliments when I was doing cosplay w it on, decided to incorporate it into my fashion and I get more compliments now. Shout out to east asian artists for normalizing this cuz I look fabulous as hell w it on.
What makeup do you use?
@@gbzedaii3765 nothing brand specific but i dont crazy or anything, foundation, eye shadow, loose powder, a ton of learning. I try to lean more towards that kpop aesthetic for both make up and fashion.
Funniest part is that I don't even listen to many kpop songs but their fashion is on point tho.
Aye man can you suggest something to make my skin clear? I.e., no spots and all?
I’m kinda skinny 53 kg but I have face fat , and I’m going to gym from Jan 1 . Hope I can achieve my goal
Start now, don’t wait. Go Jim big muscle protein Ronnie Coleman
in the thumbnail of this video, whats the 3rd photo guy’s name?
my bible 🙏
🙏🙏
step 21: be yourself
where did u find the guy on the right for the thumbnail? i wanna show that haircut to my barber
pinterest, pin.it/RDvOdMP
I'm native American, but I have a lot of "Asian like characteristics" you have no idea how much this helps,
idk i feel like it's fine to just live your life however u want, even if u dont end up standing out
Wow, thanks for ironically making it even harder to stand out now. Now that more guys have these tips, it'll be even more challenging. 😐
For all men in general
who’s the middle guy in the picture of the thumbnail?
Who’s the middle guy in the thumbnail
and driving. 🛣️
How much is the owest priced coaching tier?
u can find info about that in the link in the desc; but u can join my discord & ask me questions for free
Could you do videos for each type of guy? 💀
i aint asian but ill take this advice, yoink
Remember that you will looking stupid when you do these things for the first time, and it's natural.
These 5 simple steps to the deepest frustration in your life.
I like his sharp teeth
step 1: be handsome
Just to name a few: Cholo Asian, punk Asian, stoner Asian, Irish Asian, heck even homeless Asian.
Great job covering a majority of these issues; very foundational and informational.
I'm Thai/Viet, this is what I've learned: just as Asian women, who are fetishized, so are Asian men. Stereotypically, we're seen as nerdy, smart etc but also as a sexy and skilled race of people. Take advantage of these positives and exceed expectations; be excellent in everything you do.
Since most of us here are Asian, I'll just be blunt: women love our 'chinky' eyes & soft yet sharp features. We're the perfect balance of masculine and feminine, the ying and yang. Redirect their gaze & attention to your face: groom your brows, have a skin care routine as stated in the video: cleanser and moisturizer should suffice (my dermatologist recommends to include retinol and sunscreen. I personally include an eye cream as well, everything Cerave). If you got acne, don't let it affect your confidence but do something about it: see a dermatologist, exercise, diet, minimize your vices. Also have a cool hairstyle. Our culture has anime and edginess, take inspiration from this haha.
Physique: Genetically, a lot of us are gifted with broad shoulders and decent shape; work with what God gave you! Build a nice chest and shoulders. Pullups have helped me obtained an absolutely SLUTTY physique. with my back being my strongest feature. The vtaper wide back, broad shoulder, & small waist is undefeated when it comes to the female gaze. Also, have decent arms, the bigger the better. An aesthetic, lean, muscular build caters to a majority of men & women. Most of us naturally look like this so capitalize on what you have. If you're blessed with more muscle mass, you can NEVER, EVER go wrong with being a swoledier boi, let's be real gang.
Style: Tim goes over this well. At first, you may feel awkward wearing something you're not used to but the more you incorporate it into your wardrobe, the more natural it will be. Learn to accessorize. For me, I use a cheap old money Casio watch, a hair tie, a red string "Asian" bracelet, an "Asian" beaded bracelet, and a gold chain that my mother gave me that I tuck in my shirt. I think the more subtle and simple you can be, the sexier you'll look. The thing about accessories is that it doesn't have to be quality. I use H&M and it's cheaaap. A night out look for me is a fitted shirt to highlight my build tucked into some jeans/slacks, belt and boots. I thrift so my look is probably under $100 every time. Personally, it's my biggest flex the cheaper my fit is haha but If you don't know where to start, think of the typical Kevin Nguyen / Li Shang meme with the fitted black tee, chain, and tatts. A good starter and generally sexy look on men of any race but of course, the goal is to add more individuality into your look. This will happen over time.
Skills: We've all had comments that Asians do some sort of kung-fu karate, etc implying people view us as people who are SKILLED. I've gotten comments like these multiple times in the past few weeks because of my physique, style, and how I carry myself (I don't do any martial arts haha): use this stereotype to your advantage! The more physical the skill is the better in my opinion; it plays on the whole stereotype of being a "ninja" and athletic. Being good in the arts such as playing an instrument (typical in our culture; piano, guitar, etc) is very sexy. Kpop/BTS has had a huuuuge influence globally, please thank Junglekock daily.
Finally have some standards and be different. Ditch the drugs, alcohol, vapes, etc. Everyone and their mother does that nowadays. Be the black sheep like Cloud Strife yadigg (iykyk). Other races generally see us in a positive light so take advantage of this. Like I said before, minimize your vices, capitalize on your strengths, play on your stereotypes, be self aware, and build your confidence and money. PEACE&LOVE.
Im not gay, but you have a pretty good jawline
thanks bro
Top 20% in career is the most difficult in my opinion. Takes alot of goal setting and hard work, passion, and talent.
