I prefer the canon kyber crystal lore. Bleeding a crystal makes more sense than all red kyber crystals being synthetic.
Me too! The bleeding lore is awesome
Agreed
Same
also pretty metal if you ask me
You're entitled to your wrong & cringe opinion.
Imagine how unstable and OP a red crystal would be if anakin poured his pain and anger into it right after losing all his limbs and being set on fire then finding out about his wife.
Because he didn’t have time obviously. He’d only just turned to the dark side and immediately was tasked with killing the Jedi, killing the separatists and fighting obi wan in just 1 day
That one high republic dude in Jedi survivor bled his crystal in like two seconds
Absolutely
Exar Kun did just fine keeping a blue crystal.
Hell yeah, just got off work to come home to another new video, Thanks man :D
I really like the video and I dont want be that guy but the title really didnt have to be phrased like that. It was never about why he didnt "want" a red lightsaber it was just about why he didnt "have" one on mustafar.
I get what you're saying. I was referring to the Legends theory in the video where it talks about how Anakin may have preferred to keep his blue saber so he could surprise the Jedi in the temple, so that's why he "didn't want" a red saber
What’s ironic is that in the alternative ending for the Revenge of the Sith video game, Palpatine gave Anakin a red lightsaber with even a hilt that looked very similar to his lightsaber he ended up getting as Vader. The other part of the irony is that he killed Palpatine the moment he gave him his weapon and he became the Emperor.
Bro i love your videos whenever i rewatch star wars I think about everything you say in these videos and pay attention to every detail in the movies and think wow believe i didn't see these details before
I always saw it as a poetic reason, the jedi falling to a color they have used for years. A form of irony
The reason that Sith have to bleed kyber crystals is that they can’t bond with natural kyber crystals. Anakin’s crystal was already bonded to him and so he could still use it. I imagine the bond would have grown weaker and weaker as he fell farther to the Dark Side (perhaps affecting his duel with Kenobi) and he eventually would have had to bleed his crystal to maintain the connection had he not lost the saber in his duel. I think Dagan Gera is a good example, he used his yellow lightsaber all the way up until he was put in to stasis. When he came out of stasis, he probably felt that he couldn’t connect with his crystal anymore and so he had to bleed it right away.
Its secretly because of the orange/red backround on mustafar so the duel scenes would pop more with the blue color, plus they had to move fast, it all took place in quick secession
Palpatine probably would have forced him to have a red or purple light saber but blue and green represented the light side too much and could possibly make anakin rethink his actions
Anakin used his blue Jedi Lightsaber because it would catch the Temple off Guard when the Other Jedi believed Anakin was still a Jedi that's why the massacre was a success
@@haydenfowle7576I mean after the the massacre
Good thinking
Exactly
Good idea
I also believe he was thinking of just learning what Palpatine knew about manipulating life, kill him and move on. I don't think he fully intended to really be a Sith Lord long term at that point.
I love that idea
The sith need more variety anyways.
Good video but the background music gets old real quick when watching your other videos. Maybe switch it up a bit?
The actual truth to the question is that Anakin was secretly a Exar Kun fan boy .
May the force be with you always Hayden Christensen
The real reason was because the color was a good fit to go along with the boys in blue.
I'd take Legends lore over modern lore (personally I refuse to call it canon).
🤓
Agreed
Cool
Passing over a blue lightsaber to Luke could have been accomplished another way. Whenever general grievous took Anakin's they could have written it to where Anakin spending his time releasing palpatine doesn't get a chance to get it back. Whenever Obi-Wan fights general grievous Anakin's is one of the four lightsabers he uses and from that Obi-Wan retrieves it. Anakin gets The red one from palpatine or he constructs one corrupting Qui-Gons crystal and developing a new hilt.
Good
My mother padme amidala Skywalker
WHAT
The real reason was because the red didn't look good against the fire of Mustafar ....😆
Good luck
Old canon is better.
hello retney
Hello Mrs Retney
Maybe not
Soo silly. Does one, who is enthusiastic about Star Wars, not understand the kyber crystal calls to its owner. A red crystal is derived out of the pure Darkness within.
You do this through suffering…
Skywalker, in form of Vader, acclaimed to have killed Anakin off in spirit. He tried, but he is the “chosen one”. That Light inside wasn’t meant to never be extinguished.
That is his path. Not yours to assume. fabricating a false belief within people, who are too blind and ignorant to understand.
There is No ignorance, there is knowledge.
but whoever the publisher is strayed among the darkside🫶🏼
Please stop feeding fans BS. Please
As a die hard fan of legends and canon, this has gotta be one of the dumbest videos I’ve seen
Thanks for watching
@JR-ol9pc As a die hard fan of legends and canon I realize that there are many opinions and questions about the Star Wars Universe as a whole that have/or have not been answered so it's cool to hear all the fans having their own opinions or take on different subjects and would never call someone's video dumb as it creates a toxic environment in the SW Universe and keeps fans from fully enjoying the Universe. Could have easily been a "I disagree" response and maybe reasons why to start a fun back and forth.
@@Fluffinstuff but it’s not an opinion. Bro’s just saying shit and passing it as facts for views. I genuinely wanna know who was watching Anakin commit genocide and thought to themselves “hey! Why isn’t his lightsaber red? He’s a bad guy so his needs to be red!” This isn’t even a question that needs to be answered or asked because it’s pretty fucking obvious
@@JR-ol9pcI’m not a fan of anything made by Disney, but I try not to ruin Star Wars for anyone else. Please post a video with your take instead and don’t leave negative comments.
