The success of Forza Horizon 5 is living proof that gamers today no longer have quality standards. It's crazy what has been removed from the series over the years. Especially when it comes to gameplay. But as long as the graphics are good...
Yep those Hamann kits... damn the absence of those made me quit the game. Its not even worth playing without those bodykits

Back when we first go the boneshaker in FH5 your character would actually touch the skull but after an update it got turned into an auto
I saw screenshots in FH5 of the shifting animation being present and it really confused me - Weird update to remove that lol

In Mexico they have Mastretta. Smaller company, which makes super cars. That's what we need.
I like that wencan break barriers in FH5, but the lights are really missing. In FH4 Iiked to create "troll" tracks and I made there slalom through barriers. And the beach drag is needed to come back. I loved it, when I had no traction, 1500hp and I was trying to keep my car straight. On the lake it was perfect, we need to have some always frozen lake in FH5.
its sad how everyone forgot about the e-brake animation that i wish gets added back :(
in FH4 as well as FH3 there is a torque notion when you are launching a car with a lot of torque the front lifts up where as in FH5 the cars don't even have a roll effects and everything feels flat

The horizon 3 yellow was looking even better and the horizon 1 and 2 were pretty nice too.
They kind devolved in yellow cars just like they did in most other things.
Another one, this isn’t an issue really but the npcs were so much better on fh4. When you go on a highway or any road really on fh5, there are only ever a couple of npc cars, but on fh4 there are so many more so you can swerve in and out of traffic, this also makes fh5 feel more deserted and lonely.
I agree and I think fh5 wanted to allow easier driving cause the roads are smooth wide and open

The X-Class suspension upgrade was propably as low as it could get in Horizon 4...and they changed that in Horizon 5
Try to shift in the LEXUS LFA in fh4, i dare you. Its my favourite car and i cant cruise because of that cranky ass sound. The worst part is that there is no way for you to turn it off without turning off ALL the sound in the game.
True it did have a weird tone in the game with overly exaggerated crackles - Glad FH5 nailed the sound of the LFA :)
@@YuwanThayakaran You can also make a point that atmosphere wise fh5 (and maybe other fh games that have this) are inferior to fh1 which did not have the same song loop in a strange way throughout the whole race and instead changed once the song ended. It didn’t have the same isolated feel of the atmosphere that the current instalment has as if it captures a single moment, one emotion, which is then looped and stretched out to cover the whole race. Or maybe it was always the case and older titles just had better implementation of that, so it felt seamless and not noticeable unless you specifically look for it.
Like they should atleast have a Mastretta in FH5 also they have one that's the Vuhl

I still think Mexico was a bad choice. And patching the interior photos glitch without making it a feature was a poor decision.
Mexico is far worse than a Bad Choice IMO. It is utterly *Inexplicable* to me! I am fully of the view that those Responsible should be Transferred to another Project, if not taken off Microsoft's Books Period!

I give up Forza Motorsport 2023 and play Forza Horizon 4 and 5 like you in 2018 2019 and 2020 and 2021 and 2022 I play it a lot

Despite the fact that the two games are on the same engine and are literally the same they still remove things
Mike Brown only wanted Battle Royale and did not care one jot about anything else, FH5 was made to be Battle Royale and nothing but, everything else is literally an afterthought! Hopefully a lot more thought will go into FH6 under Torben and a lot of this will come back and with a Bang!
If I wouldn’t know the difference between FH5 and FH4, I would say that FH4 is newer. I have both and I prefer driving in FH4. The only downside is that the community isn’t there anymore its in FH5 now. FH5 I would rate it 6.75/10 and FH4 I would rate it 9.2/10.
At least they removed drivatars in Free roam, oh god i hate that feature

The only thing that makes FH5 better than its predecessors is the graphics. Everything else is a downgrade.

About the Bone Shaker animation: This reminds me of the Hitlergruß, a way how Adolf Hitler was honored back in Nazi Germany. Maybe that's why they removed it? U know there are always those guys that need to complain about sth
We need underglow or maybe a cop chase that would be cool
Both are Impossible for Forza Horizon.
1. Ralph Fulton confirmed, before FH4 Launched, to Eurogamer in an Interview with them that Playground were looking at Underglow for Forza Horizon 4, but had to stop when Several High Value Car brands took Objection and threatened to Remove their Licenses if Underglow was added to any Single Car in the Game, so they had to Scrap that Idea.
2. Police Chases are Impossible as Microsoft, back in 2019, *mandated* a PEGI 3 Age Rating on all Future Forza Games under a Corporate Policy called "Forza Safe Space", as of the PEGI Rule Rewrites in 2018, Police Chases now Require a *minimum* Age Rating of a PEGI 12, meaning they can not be done. Not that they would have done them anyway as Police Chases were going to be in FH1, but were Removed in Late Beta when the whole of PGG agreed, Unanimously, that the Police Chases were Ruining the Game. You also need to remember that they also have a License with Renault, and Ivory Tower have confirmed that Renault is one of around 40 Manufacturers (TOMOCO (yes. TOYOTA.) being another) who *do not* Permit their Cars to be Featured in Games that contain Police Chases anymore.
Cop chase won't make sense as the festival is sanctioned. If it wasn't, then you'd call it Need for Speed.

FH1 is the best .
FH5 was a downgrade. I is more arcade-ish, it is more colorful. But it's nowhere near an upgrade. Yet somehow they didn't want Mexico to look to yellowish, hence the lack of colors.
I dont play forza horizon 5 because i didnt like it, the graphics are amazing but i dont like the gaming, so im just waiting for the fh6 😼😼
