Meri sister Holi par banglore se Pune terminal 2 se hi ayi vo boli bhut amazing hai plus airport par HDFC ke credit card se usne only 2rs. Per person unlimeted khana khaya veg and nonveg both....
One more best thing about our Bengaluru International Airport is the safety for women...dunno how many of u know about this....there are women driven kstdc cabs for women who are travelling in midnight or landing in night times...last night my lady colleague n myself landed around 3.30 am n as we came out, we were guided to the women-driven cabs immediately...it's such a huge relief as most of us wud worry about our safety....hats off to these women who themselves take such a huge risk to drive for our safety... Bengaluru airport is very beautiful in many ways

@@white_-868 Although I am a man, Ar ladkiyo ke chochle se dur rehta hu 😂. But still she was right, Women's safety is still a concern so it's a good step that Women driven cabs are provided for them at airport. I do have my share of problems with women but still safety is not one of them.

I will explain baggage drop , it's that you don't have to stand in a que to check in and check in your baggage. In India boarding pass is all e pass on phone or print or face scan so all u need to do is to drop the baggage in those counters, machine will give u a receipt and your are done just walk in straight for boarding.
How will it avoid queuing? People still have to queue behind each other to use baggage-drop counter. Also, it takes few min for a new person to become familiar & use the system so it is slower than manual check-in. What if someone steals your bag and checks in - how is that identified? What if your bag exceeds the weight limit? - you need official to help in that case...
I don't know if fully automatic system is a good idea..... In KL, they have several baggage-drop Kiosks within city limits (close to your home) where you can check-in & drop baggage with help of an Official. And baggage will be sent to Airport and loaded onto your Plane independently of you. Then you simply arrive at Airport without tension and board the Plane.
@@nondajeevi5036 since the system is automatic it will take less time than manual cheking.. the baggage will be weighed and if overweight either you have to withdraw it or pay excess baggage fee at the same time by electronic transfer or card transfer. It will surely be faster than normal manual checking I have seen it in Singapore airport
There even immigration is automated you need to scan your passport and go through that's all
@@lonelyforever6912 Hello Lonely. I think for it to become fast there'd need to be many Counters (like >100) and people really need to embrace automation. Even if its faster, it shouldn't be painful. Ex - take automatic BESCOM bill payment system, it is effective mainly because there are many counters. Another ex - Veggie store Fresho has self-billing counters but there's usually some prob, breakdown etc. & so much queue that it is really painful and I stopped going.
It maybe ok for business people always travelling. But domestic travelers travel rarely may prefer manual where they pay in cash, talk to a polite human for getting information, adjust seats etc.
Video said its been tested in T1. I'm not saying its a stupid system but I'd like to see more innovation that solve problems for Indian conditions. Maybe something is in the works. But as it is I'm not impressed.
@@nondajeevi5036 yes more counters are always better to avoid rush automated or manual . However in this case I think they must have worked out the time taken by each machine to clear a customer accordingly they would have installed the number of machines needed . As this system is on trial am sure they will refine it depending on trial results and customer feedback.

The self drop baggage kiosk is new...some airport have them but very less...In India these days are e-boarding pass which you print at home before travelling...now you have to give baggage to airlines...so using baggage drop you can drop your baggage on your own and not stand in queue of the airlines

Mauzam there is a difference between Pratima and moorty. Pratima is a moorty which is worshiped where as a moorty is just for display for decoration. So the idols and sculptures which were displayed in the airport for decoration were moorties and not Pratimas which are worshiped and not for decoration.

Baggage technology already applied in japan:
you scan passport and checkin on screen , and you get baggage tags, paste baggage tags yourself and then go to drop baggage, yiu place baggage on belt and it scans auto matically your pasted tags and weight of yiur bags, it wont accept ablove weight limit per bags, so there will be a person assigned for entire row who will scan his ID and press accept, and you press finish on screen and then you get baggage receipt and so on, no need to wait in long queues.
