Investing is not trading and has a vastly different goal, like trading, when done well, is about taking measured risks for discrete periods of time at sufficient volume as to generate profits, and typically involves wild swings in profitability. Investing is about minimizing risk to generate wealth over the long term, not generating short-term profits.
I have no idea what you went through but my friend has come to accept that the only way to remain sane in the markets is mechanical system. No human being will beat the ups and downs of volatility. I'm willing to be wrong but I don't think that the big money folks are watching the screens or rely on their emotions go on a roller-coaster with peoples' money. Maybe something to explore.

Risk management is Top tier key for successful trading. you must be ready to lose because if you don’t know how to lose you will never learn how to win
Yes you must be ready to lose, But then losing money doesn’t guarantee you earnings. if you want to win when trading, Focus more on trading when there is liquidity likewise you should be able to evaluate good market entries and exit.
Losses are necessary, as long as they are associated with a strategy that you can get to learn from

Buyers are extra cautious right now. They want to make sure they’re getting a good deal given how much mortgage payments have gone up, and when they don’t feel like they’re getting a good deal, they’re backing out, so definitely looking elsewhere is a necessity

It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a professional planner and fixed-income strategist in LA. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won't simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.

He has a known past of running scams (past prop firm that went under from not paying out traders with Raul, has never been funded with a prop firm company before owning rocket 21.)
IF this was real all Alex would have to do is to show a MyFXbook or his PnL on a verified broker that is not his and he would literally take over the WHOLE industry, $100 to $1 million is insane, could take over the whole industry and it would be the easiest cash grab of his life.
His excuse is that he doesn’t want to bring business to a broker that he’s not affiliated with (that is a cope) and this challenge is bigger than bringing business to a broker.
He could also grab an affiliate link and then show us the “verified broker” he claims to be using and then he could get all the commission from his affiliate link all while verifying the biggest challenge in this industry, this is a no brainer and obviously a scam.
He could single handedly take over this whole space by simply doing any of these things but instead he hides the broker and his payouts on his own prop firm having no track record of a payout before then. Instead he analyzes 10 different currency pairs on his IG live and brags about the 1 that worked and then manipulates the backend of metatrader on his own private broker and grifts to naive people to have them purchase his course and $2500 mentorship while getting commission from his prop firm.
There is a 0% chance this is real. If people believe this they need to get a job and quit trading.

Im glad Alex is getting his flowers for what he does for the community g, Listen he has turned my tradiing aroun sd simply by emphazing using the HTF directions to bias your trrade, I. still. use my strategy which. enters on the 15m but that one tip has helped me form the story so i know exactly why i took. the. trade and am confident even if i take a loss , im not strategy hopping, next thing for me to get down is Risk reward , im in a. Toss up between 1:3 , 1:5 and 1:10s that would be my question to you Alex , how do i chose the right reward amount for my strategy? Im thinking it would come to journaling my results on how far price most consistently goes based on my 10 trade sample sizes etc or would you advise just pick one and stick with it (the lower the better)
