  • We know more about space than we do about the oceans on this planet. Ocean trenches, the most hidden habitats on Earth, account for the deepest 45% of the oceans. This enigmatic environment is called the hadal zone and remains one of the least explored habitats on earth. And they go deep.

      Try to think they were already used by somebody before throwing them in the water, which means they'd be open and on the way down get filled with water - which gets the cans same pressure inside and outside.

    @DavidMiller-fy4ph Před 6 lety +25

    To funny, It goes to show you, schools now days teach total crap in schools.
    The main question is...
    Why didn't the beer and spam cans collapse under that amount of psi of 7 miles +....
    And the answer is..
    Because the cans are already filled with matter heavier than the cans.
    Example) if you drop an egg in the same location, it would still be intact at the bottom of any mileage given.
    Even a glass cube filled with water will not brake under any psi. So it doesn't have anything to do with the strength of the outer shell, it has to do with how full the inner space is with matter.
    This is physics 101-102

    • @darringraham2613
      @darringraham2613 Před 6 lety +2

    • @DavidMiller-fy4ph
      @DavidMiller-fy4ph Před 6 lety +2

      Darrin Graham
      Hilarious...a camera man. When I mentioned " inner space," I wasn't referring to outer space!
      But one thing for sure, the U.S. flag is still standing and flapping in the winds of the Moon as an eagle since the first time it landed.
      Oh yeah, back to the beer and the SPAM can, and whether or not it would crush or not under 7 miles
      + of PSI pressure????
      I gave my answer and I'll stick to it.. maybe you can spend some time and study and DEBUNK me wrong?
      BUT I MUST MENTION TO YOU, YOU DON'T KNOW THAT YOUR UP AGAINST IN THIS MATTER OF THE BEER AND SPAM CANS...
      Here let me help you. Take a few eggs and put them in a sock tied to 5'280.00 x whatever mileage you want to add with fishing line.
      Get a boat and go to the deepest ocean waters you can, and cast it in.
      Next, hope that no fish think that it's food, but I would put garlic all over the sock fist before casting the eggs.
      Now the rest I think you can figure out..
      Oh, option 2, you can always put a beer or a spam can in the sock and do the same thing as in the video, but what is questionable is, did they really show the cans at the bottom of what they claimed them to be? I mean after all, the video didn't show a diver jump in and travel dive 7miles plus in one take of film showing what they claimed..
      Well, at this point I have to admit, you just can't trust video now days, since the fine art of editing and Photoshop, and the free access of archive video for the last 100 + year's, of other people's video's and then editing them together, making it their own!
      That's what I think it total bullshit!
      Taking credit from the work of others!!!!!!!!!!

    A bunch of ball bearings from our trip there. They filled the sub with gas so it would return to the surface. In 1960. The bearings was the balist that was dropped to raise up. The gas stopped the pressure from crushing. The little window did break but it didn't bust out or this wouldn't be anything that would be known about. There was ceatures, some strange, all the way to the bottom. The spam and bud was my fault. I was hungry and that made me thirsty.

    That’s one way to be able to study cells without a microscope. A single cell over 4 inches in diameter. Wow, I’d love to see that thing eat, or absorb its food. I wonder how large of bite can it swallow? A whole fish? I’d like to see an entire fish or shrimp be absorbed into that thing and slowly absorbed. A terrible way to go.

    Wouldn't the can of spam have been crushed? A flimsy aluminum beer can uncrushed?? This doesn't make sense.

    • @kyle857
      @kyle857 Před 6 lety

      J.L. Herington it's open so it has water on the inside as well that is the same pressure.

  • @IchigoKurosaki_
    @IchigoKurosaki_ Před 6 lety

    Wouldn't the spam and beer can be covered with sand, i mean aside from a messed up corner on the beer can you figured that the salt water and pressure would have eroded the wording and design. Shit a beer can found in a creek after a year or so would have the wording/ design worn almost all the way off so why is both objects in almost perfect condition.......

    Sure does seem to me like the cans would have been crushed under all that pressure. I would have expected a lump of aluminum or tin or a metal sheet this as paper... Either way i dont see them being in such perfect photo condition

    • @getdunced631
      @getdunced631 Před 6 lety +5

      Thing is because the cans are almost certainly open, they have filled with water meaning the pressure inside and outside the can is equal. Resulting in a perfect descent

      Thomas h No. It's open so it's full of water. Why would it be crushed? The water on the inside is under the same pressure. This is basic physics.
