How to Edit Audio in Articulate Storyline?

In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through the process of editing audio within Storyline.
1. Accessing the Audio Editor:
- Open your Storyline project and navigate to the slide containing the audio you want to edit.
- Select the audio element on the timeline.
- Right-click and choose “Edit Audio.” The audio editor will open.
2. Deleting Unwanted Portions:
- Identify the specific part of the audio you want to remove.
- Select that area within the audio editor.
- Click the “Delete” button to remove it.
- Observe the selected portion disappearing from the audio track.
3. Importing Additional Audio:
- Determine where you want to insert new audio within the existing track.
- Click the “Import” button in the audio editor.
- Choose the audio file you want to add.
- The imported audio will appear as a light blue highlighted section.
- Click “Save and Close.”
4. Adding Silence or Pauses:
- Select the area where you want to insert silence or a pause.
- Click the “Silence” button in the audio editor.
- The selected portion will be replaced with silence.
5. Adjusting Volume:
- To increase or decrease the volume of the audio, click the “Volume” button.
- A small pop-up with a slider will appear.
- Adjust the slider to modify the audio volume.
- Click “OK” to apply the changes.
6. Preview Your Changes:
- Click “Save and Close.”
- Preview the slide to listen to the edited audio.
