The Battle Of The Year has come a long way. Who would have thought that BOTY would go from starting out in 1990 in a local youth culture centre with 500 hard-core fans to an arena packed with more than 12,000 roaring spectators and b-boy crews from all over the world?
BOTY has grown massively - and we have slowly realised our vision of developing the spirit of breakdance and creating an international event platform that allows B-Boys and B-Girls from all different countries to express their creativity in front of an ever-growing audience.
BOTY 2015 was huge - and our aim is to keep it growing, evolving and pushing it to become the best Battle Of The Year we can possibly achieve, to once again prove that the event has earned its position as a pinnacle of the breaking and b-boying scene. Why are professional Bboy's so short

Well first and most obvious, B-boys & B-girls come in all shapes and sizes. For example for professional sports like Basket Ball & American Foot Ball not necessarily require you to be on the tall but are picked because of their size, sure their are some of those on the short side but in breaking we don't pick our professional breakers by height. The Hip-Hop culture doesn't discriminate, you've seen people from physically disabled to 50-year old breakers. If we're talking about a culture that accepts everybody the average person is just going to be I guess average. We do have tall professional breakers too like Neik, Hong 10, Wing, Tata, Boogie B, Billy Boy, Vicious Vic, etc. Are you even a real breaker?

AnamixArtist have you met any of the Bboy's you just mentioned? The only tall ones from that lost are tata and wing. The rest are 5'8 and below

First, they aren't 5'8" LOL. Secondly my point is there are tall breakers because you clearly stated professional bboys are short.

The only Bboy I know that us 5'8" is Kill. You can use him as reference when he's battling others.
