Ive had 7 1ups and one Ultimate. Since I bought the LU I have sold off my 12 in 1, Turtles and RP Final Fight. The LU with coin opX is great and I can play anything I want via either local streaming via PC or the 5 hours a month cloud gaming. I plat the LU way more. I have all my current gen fighters on Steam and play them on the LU daily. The A1ups cant even come close to touching the out of the box functions of the LU. And as for screens you can play all your Steam games on full screen mode and it looks great. Not even a RP mod A1up can do that.

Legends Ultimate has better controls, more games, and more options as far as including spinners, roller, and joystick.
@Joe S you can mod it to look however you want. The Oneup buttons are ultimate shite. They’ll break in months. I want to actually play my games

I saw your first video and that was a horrible experience lol. I ordered mine directly from Atgames and it came from California to Nj and the packaging for mine was perfect. Everything was is excellent condition. Did not have a single problem with any parts. So I guess it’s hit or miss lol. Great video brother.
It's simple. Do you want to pay $500 to play 3-4 games over, and over, and over again . . . or would you rather pay an extra $100 to play EVERY arcade game with a sweet Coin Ops front end? Legends Ultimate wins hands down. I regret having spent $1,200+ on my Arcade 1UP collection.
So glad i didnt get caught up i got a ms pacman and then saw LU i want an at games pinball next and maybe a 1up Centipede because its pretty.😂

I'm glad I found this video. I'm in the process of building a 4 metre by 3 metre wooden 'shed' in the bottom of my garden, which will be my gaming room. I'm limited on space and can only fit a couple of cabs in there.. was gonna get a couple of 1up machines, but think I've changed my mind now and gonna get a 1up legacy edition cab, and the at games cab with all those games, makes sense as I'm limited on space. I was searching for the best buy edition of marvel vs cap com arcade 1up. Probably for 4 months, I searched and searched and got nothing. Then when I was on a job in a clients home I seen they had the LU multicade. Client showed me how he had all the games from arcade 1 up on there LU on a usb. For the value alone I was blown away! Ordered mine from Sams club and it actually came in excellent condition. So I look at best buys website just yesterday and guess what was in Stock lol?!?!?!?

I just bought a Space Invaders Arcade 1Up cabinet for $150 at Walmart, free shipping. I'll be converting it to a RetroPie system.
How’d you get it so cheap?
I have the Legends Mini and 5 Arcade1up machines. The thing that I have noticed is that every game I own of Arcade1up is one that I can play on the mini with CoinOps. I think my mini lets me play over 3000 games, but also the entire NES, Genesis, Atari and Gameboy collection. The only thing I haven't been able to play yet are the shooting or driving games. But that's fine.

At games Ultimate with coinopsX + at games pinball is all you'll ever need i would get a 1up centipede because it is so damned pretty.
IMO legends is better and I have none of the problems you have with your LU,I got golden tee and Pac-Man 40th anniversary edition and I just bought legends today and it's so much better because of the amount of games it has and the plug and play options

Legends Ultimate is for gaming. Arcade1up is for collecting.
2:30 the reason why it's wide like that is because you can connect console and pc games to it. Playing games like Mortal Kombat 11
How do these compare to a Namco cabinet?
If the Arcade 1Up boxes had the ability to add games or connect other devises, such as the legends can handle connecting a steam deck, the the Arcade 1Up would be definitely be the better of the two.
I think Atgames has made a bunch of improvements over the year. I like the Atgames is better because of bigger screen and WIFI. I like the art work on the Arcade 1up better. But I would go with Atgames and the pinball tables are bigger than Arcade 1up. The Arcade 1up looks like a toy.

My concern is the same as when I had my old arcade machine with a hot rod controller. I had tons of games but it was overload and I could not play many games properly with 8 way joysticks like Pac-Man etc …thoughts ? Also how do
You add games ? Is it complicated ?
Yeah there will be issues with button mapping too depending on what games you play and there's a handful of videos on CZcams that show how to add games. As arcade 1up cabinet prices skyrocket the Legends Ultimate is actually a good way to hold you over until prices come back down.

Those A1Up screens suck. They put the lowest quality POS monitors in those units and you can’t view them unless you’re standing directly in front of them. The LU screen is a awesome 24” 1080p screen.
I can’t find a list of all the games on the ultimate
ATGames is way better, way more games on all their Ultimate systems, better controllers that are not themed towards a specific games or series of games, you don't get stuck with something like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter themed controls or if you get Pac Man you are stuck with only 1 Joystick and one action button. If you get Golden Tee Golf you are stuck with only a Trackball, Tempest Only a Spinner, Light Gun Games, only 2 light guns, Ridge Racer, Only a Steering Wheel. With At Games you can get all the games of 1Up in one system if you use the BYOG feature and get the CoinOpsX. The Ultimate Legends has all 3 controllers, Joysticks, Trackball an Spinner.
1Up sells a Pong only Game for 700 bucks and 450 bucks for Boring Pong that is still Pong that is the same as what you get on the Atari VCS. AtGames is way cheaper to build your video game collection. With 1Up you Can't add more games without replacing the entire circuit board, with AtGames you just add a Jump Drive.
With AtGames you can just buy the Control Deck and that Core Puck thing and hook it up to your TV, can't do that with 1Up.
Buy A1UP for cabinets of games you love. Atgames for everything else.

Seriously? Goto walmart after Christmas. I've seen Arcade 1ups for $50-100 on clearance in south florida. I work at a Walmart dc and saw several thousand being sent back to the vendor after not selling even after being discounted last year and expect the same this year.

There's lots of places online when you do a search (especially on some of the largest online bidding auctions, used marketplaces)
So you added the riser on the 1up but not on the legends ultimate. Then said the 1up was more comfortable? Dude you have to review like for like, both with and without risers
OP, did you ever get your LU replacement? If so, how'd it go?
No I ended up getting a different one from sam's club and replace what I needed from that one because that one was broke in different places than the first one. Luckily not too hard to replace the screen if you have to.

I was gonna get a 1 up and rip the guts out but instead bought a 32 inch large arcade cabinet. So glad i did. The 1 up and legends is just too small for two players imo. No elbo room

@@joelcarlos I bought the cab off a private seller its originally a street fighter champion edition large 32 inch lcd cab that he refurbished and put in a pandora 3d box inside. Its huge. I ripped the guts out and its running on my rtx 2080ti. I have a lot of current steam games like mk11 sf5 killer instinct etc..and about 5k total games imported to launchbox bigbox

I have 5 arcade 1ups and one legends ultimate…
Bottom line:
Want an arcade with a bunch of machines, Arcade 1up
However if you’re gonna mod them, Legends Ultimate.
If you don’t have room and want one machine, Legends Ultimate.
No brainer, controls and build quality way better than Arcade 1up
can you add cfw and and add roms to it? the free kind?

I love mini consoles and digital emulator cabinets. But...I can't really see it being worth it to buy one unless I'm buying one to mod.
Like don't get wrong, this is all personal opinion. If you buy them and enjoy them, that's totally cool. You do you. Have fun. I'm not here to judge someone for playing a video game how they wanna play, or for spending their money how they want.
What I am saying is that for me, it's not worth it. 1up machines have 3-4 games at most, and it's emulation. And while the AtGames machine has 300 games, it's still all emulation, and there's a lot of games on there that I'd never even play.
Meanwhile I have an Xbox Series S with RetroArch. It currently has 195 Arcade games, and around 6000 other console and handheld games. And, I have an arcade stick. Add to that the fancy CRT shaders to make em look nicer than the super clear picture you get from 1ups.
It's just hard to justify buying one of these things when I have just about every game they play, on my Xbox, for free...plus a LOT more. If I bought a 1up or AtGames machine, it'd be for the sole purpose of modding it with RetroArch. At that point, I'm only buying it for the physical machine itself and not the games on it. The case, monitor, controls, etc.

Ugh I have the same exact power button issue.... So annoying. And frustrating.
I know what it is now! It's the back panel where you plug it in. That little piece is faulty. I tried a different back panel and it fixed it.
@@FishBeeProductions Wow really? Because I've been emailing back and forth with Atgames and they're putting me on a waiting list for a new power button. If it's not even that as the cause, that would definitely stink. Ugh.
Doesn't the back panel already come assembled on that top piece? How did you troubleshoot and figure it out?
I bought another one but it was damaged too so I started troubleshooting to see if anything would work and sure enough as soon as I switched the back panel where you plug it in it started working. It could be a loose ground or something to do with that little piece on the back but I'm just glad it fixed it on mine.

The arcade 1ups are better. Cause you have that authentic feel of game separation. If I wanted a lot of games in the cabinet, I would just buy a console.
Exactly! For me it’s all about nostalgia.I’m not a gamer at all! Infact I despise video games they’re annoying.But this brings me back to a different time.arcades! They were more a place to hangout as opposed to a place for “hardcore gamers”so for nostalgia alone 1up for me.but the other looks pretty promising as well

No they are not, I have both. Arcade1up feel cheaper.
I have played a 1UP and I have an ALU and you can tell the sticks are more beefy and solid on the ALU. The buttons on the ALU I find are a bit stiff but work well. I could change the buttons to Sanwa but I think they are fine for now.
I'd rather have one arcade machine for $499 instead of 5 arcade machines that cost $499 each
at this time i could get the arcade 1ups for 250-300, unfortunately i missed out on some that were only $150
It's really a shame you didn't get yourself one of the first AGLU. I have to say that one you have is a bloody disaster. Less games that the original, less features. That horrible side art that you have to put on! Not to mention more stuff to put it together than the original. Which took all of 15 minutes to complete. Now you don't even have a proper power button? I'm screaming for you mate. Hang in there lad.

That sucks man I just put mine together and no issues and nothing broken. My power button is fine, no light bleed. I even pulled my screen off to clean between the plastic and screen no issues. Sorry you are having such a bad experience with yours. But after loading it with coinopsx it’s amazing.
In conclusion. Save your money.
My power button on ultimate also does not work and needs a weight on it to keep it on. There is a loss of connection to the controls as no joy sticks work no roller ball and no buttons are working. There is no support from ATGAMES in Canada. So you are on your own to find repairs or parts. The updates for versions downloads for hours the kicks you out at 74 % downloaded . Start again. Wish I never bought the legends ultimate Junk.

I think everyone should own a Legends Arcadenet product but I don't whether they should own an ultimate/gamer pro/ gamer mini or a core. A1UP should have released a quality fight stick with games instead of the crappy console controllers. Legends has several different ways to connect to Arcadenet. The Core looks cool since you can connect multiple joysticks to it and it's about the size of a hockey puck. www.atgames.net/arcades/ A1up is great if Ms. PacMan or TMNT was your fav game growing up and you want a replica of that game in your mancave.

So at 500 I feel like the Legends ultimate is just about every priced by a hundred bucks and if they're charging 600 on their website they're f****** insane
It is worth every penny. That extra $100 gets you the ability to add your own games (my cabinet has over 1,600) with Coin OPS integration.

Man, my SF Arcade1up mod is better than that crappy Legends Ultimate. I modded my cabinet with an Odroid XU4, LED buttons, Sanwa sticks, light-up marquee, and a coin door. To tell you the truth, every Arcade1up cabinets and the Legends Ultimate, all the games does not have perfect emulation, which most people failed to notice. I did found glitches on SF and MK Arcade1up cabinet.
Good luck playing two player on that babysized arcade
