I would recommend that you guys make a podcast on pre-wedding issues. I think a lot of parents and a lot of young boys and girls need to know the real meaning of marriage. In our society, wedding is shrouded in clouds of irrelevant and horrendous practices that hinder marriage. Also, please discuss socio-economic practices that surround marriage and how they have a role to play in defining the concept of marriage.
that is true. in our society before marriage the boy and the girl are given different pieces of advice but I haven't ever heard any advice on what Islam says the relationship is for both the girl and boy. the boy has a huge responsibility(mental, monetary, physical etc) and the girl also has such responsibilities. but no one tells them about the level of the relation and its responsibility in terms of islam.

Minhaj bhai cannot keep quiet about his ideal marriage life, plus if Islam proposes a different set up for every family unit that should be taken literally. Man should learn to love and respect his parents as well as maintain a separate family system with wife and children. Grandma and grandpa should leave parenting to parents alone

I am indian & i live in saudi with family my mom is in india and she says if u want to send ur kids to me then be prepared k tum husbnd wife kuch na bolna bacho ko mere saamne mai tou bigaadungi chaahe wo kuch b kare...😑 This becomes difficult agar bolo kuch toh maa ko lagta hai wife ne sikhaya hai aur fir bacho ko sudharna bahot mushkil hojata hai.

I'm sorry but Minhaj ud Din wasn't letting the conversation become diverse, he was too biased about a joint family system and focusing on an unrealistic lifestyle. Ali E's perspective was more realistic but he didn't get to speak much.
