I think Lil Zoo's crash on the very last part of his set made a major 360 degree change with the judges decision.
He still took the first and second round man what are you talking about
For me, Kid David gets it on Footwork, Musicality, and Originality. He reminds me slightly of Cloud, but more traditional than him.
Kid David winning recipe :
1) I Make it to red bull bc one thanks to my manager buddies while better bboys who battled hard in qualifiers, El Nino, Toyz, Bebo have to stay home.
2) i Win the first round thanks to my judge buddies (it doesn't matter if only do 6 steps, baby chairs and repeat the only freeze that i know twice and mess up in the second round)
3) it doesn't matter if i get booed by a crowd of 2000 bboys.

I really like Kid David but when I was watching the livestream I thought Lil Zoo took this.
I can't wait for someone to upload footage of this with less of the cuts to the other bboy's faces, and angles that aren't shooting the actual bboy at all...Since we get to see less than 60% of their rounds, it's really hard to decide if it was a robbery or a deserved call.

Oh forgot lil Zoo punished himself for his risk taking, he messed up 3 times and he paid the price.
Excellent start from Kid David
First time watching this I wasn't sure about the decision, now I can see that Kid David took it. Lill Zoo's crash at the end is enough to lose any judge's vote at a competition of this level. Still, the guy represented Morocco to fullest. Good battle.
Dear Redbull, for next year can we videos that show the bboys sets entirely without crosscutting them with closeups of the opponents face or random crowd shots? Just shoot it in Long Shot (so we can see their whole body), and save the cuts for the trailers.

How could lil zoo lose this ? he had explosive energy, originality, foundations, power and even air madness, Kid david had no answer for that, this will go down in history as one of the greatest robberies of Bc One, Fame (and judge buddies) won over pure Talent, An audience of 1000 bboys booing the Judges speaks volumes about who won that battle.

Kid David easily won this. Idk if we're watching the same battle here, but Kid David definitely won. Lil Zoo was dope, but he was sloppy and he crashed. Kid david killed it all the way through. I wish I could see his last set though since half of it was cut off.
Kid David has always had mad style and on top of his style he has always been very clean! Again let me say CLEAN, Lil Zoo from what I could see had a few minor mess ups, Very close battle, dope on both sides nonetheless. People we should focus more on just enjoying the battles and showing respect instead of arguing and dissing both bboys, CZcams is whats killing the RESPECT side of the scene

I do not know why Kid David won that battle. He was cleaner than Lil Zoo, but it is easy to be clean if you play it safe and do nothing with a high a degree of difficulty. Maybe he had more musicality but not from this video.

Lil Zoo messed up a lil bit in his first round, and he did to much powermoves and almost nothing in footwork and freezes, and kid david put a lot of style on everything, his freezes were clean, his footwork was smoth and creative, the judges didnt choose kid david because he's more famous than lil zoo wtf
Lil Zoo does only a succession of tricks and powermoves, and I respect this. But Kid David dances. It's the difference to be a real bboy.

4. If you can call that a mess up, which it wasn't. Then 1:22 is a mess up, then in the 3rd round 3:10 falling on his back is mess up, then he crashes exiting the fip at the end.
5. I'll give it to you lil Zoo had more explosive energy. Also Kid David answered lil Zoo crowd pleasers with actual dance. lil Zoo had no footwork or musicality. Lets see you do all that KD did as fluid and smooth as him and then say he has no power or dynamics. And ooh lil Zoo did 3 flips how amazing(sarcasm)!

no we know what a crash is but I also know a lot of David sets and he def couldn't land some freezes he usually sticks not only that but he was definitely slower and it hurt his rhythm riding

3. Bboy will always be a dance, if you want flips, handstands, and flares go watch gymnastics. Again judges aren't any corrupt then you the crowd or myself. Judges were picked for their expertise and insighy. Plus it was more new school judges, meaning it was more in lil Zoo's favor.
