    Great job Peter. I have had the same issue in a IC-756PRO3, warn PA unit in RX with bias in as well. It was a leakage voltage in RX/TX switch stage.Thanks for another great video, stay safe my dear friend. 73s Pasquale IW0HEX

    Another great video, Peter. I have found that most hams dabble somewhat in electronics. I guess it's just part of ham radio. But most hams cannot repair their own radios unless they are a working technician. Your troubleshooting techniques are par to none. You always seem to go to the correct spot for testing. 73 from W Rusty Lane K9POW in eastern Tennessee

    I really like your videos! I also like in case of german people explain something in english, I like the detailed explanation and the accent too! :)
    By the way, I was able to follow the investigation and understand almost every steps. But it is not clear why the RX was lost only after transmitting?

    put an MI301 PIN diode instead of the original diode. yes it's a bit more expensive but you'll never have problem with that circuit again.

    Peter all your videos are great. The earlier ones on Baluns in (4 parts a few years back) were extremely good and fundemental. You did one 6 months ago on replacing the Icom7300 final mosfets. I just wondered where you got those from? I only ask because other than eBay (hmm) I am struggling to find them. David

    Love to send you my MK2G. Works for 10 min. Then we only have 160. Probably relaying. I Can't see that well or I'd go for it. Be nice to be able to get a New relay board but I'm sure know one makes them.

    Had me a Yaesu 757gxII had receive issues and such. Was leaky diodes. Put me in some 1N4148 and fix it good. Did you use Genuine replacements or did you use some equivalent for the diode? Good video.

      Look for bad electrolytic capacitors on the display board.

      The backlight circuit is ageing if you are lucky only caps are involved....
