Had not heard of the patchwork challenge til now. What a great idea! Just getting out and birding at your local spots

Jup was reasonably cold, but when my feet where dry and inside my shoes again they were warm again :)
Better than birding on with wet shoes and socks
@@TheDutchBirder I agree wet feet and socks is probably worse than being cold.
Ik dacht al, waarom tel je de soorten niet, maar op het eind kwam het toch nog voor elkaar. Leuk hoor!
Ja anders wordt het zon rommeltje met soorten die ik (nog) niet heb gefilmd ;)

I'm wondering, what's your camera and lens setup? Can you get away without a scope with it? Thank you.

I use the canon 90d and the 400mm f5.6 but if you are looking for new gear I wouldn't advice it. There are way better options. And yes although when using the lcd viewfinder and digital zoom u can kind of use it as a scope when in need, but a scope is deffenitely something I use often when birding.

@@TheDutchBirder Vrij kleine oren en (donkere) ogen, roodbruine vacht, tweekleurig: boven donker en onder licht. De staart is redelijk lang, maar dat is vrij lastig te zien op het filmpje. Daarnaast ook de algemeenste woelmuis van Nederland volgens mij.
Op blote voeten! Haha! Zag al vaker dat je op gymschoenen loopt. Waarom zet je geen paar bergschoenen achterin de auto die je kunt verwisselen als je ‘het veld’ in gaat? Anyway, leuke vlog weer!
Omdat ik voornamelijk lopend of met de fiets de patch in ga. In mijn auto heb ik een paar mooie gevoerde regenlaarzen, maar soms reken je er gewoon totaal niet op net als op Texel tijdens de Giervalk zoektocht. Bovendien kan ik niet lang op bergschoenen lopen i.v.m achillespees dus vandaar bijna altijd op sneakers met zeer goede demping.
Ik denk dat het een bosmuis is
