People who know the right person (ie a corrupt cop ) can get away with so much and the guy reporting will get in trouble instead. (Has happened, will happen again). I had a driver trying to run me over once. Nothing got done. I had a driver threatening me at the window, hitting the window, threatening me verbally amongst other things and nothing really got done . Police rarely follow things up unless someone has been killed / seriously injured. They are more interested in just pushing it away or giving the party they don't like a bolo so all the other cops can harass that person as well.

I'd love to do that until you get in their car and there's kids in the back seat (or worse). Next thing you know, you're in court for a kidnapping charge... It's easier and safer to just let the idiots fight it out...

It happened back in 08 and thankfully I just got whiplash and severe bruising. For months after I had the constant ‘What if’ question. It nearly broke me tbh. To this day I hate people sitting right up my backside.

People who know the right person (ie a corrupt cop ) can get away with so much and the guy reporting will get in trouble instead. (Has happened, will happen again).
I had a driver trying to run me over once. Nothing got done.
I had a driver threatening me at the window, hitting the window, threatening me verbally amongst other things and nothing really got done . Police rarely follow things up unless someone has been killed / seriously injured. They are more interested in just pushing it away or giving the party they don't like a bolo so all the other cops can harass that person as well.

Real fights never look like they do in the movies
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug. If you can keep it under control, you're golden.
Most real fights are over in one or two punches... about the time that one or the other figures out they're not gonna win.
To be fair, most of the fights in the movies would look completely lame if they didn't use a lot of editing trickery.
That's because there's no fight trainers, choreography, practice, editing, cameras, and doing multiple takes until it looks right. A fight scene that lasts half a minute in a movie can take hours to put together.
They never go the way you think they are going to go when you start.
