Hey I'm confused between this laptop and the ROG Zephyrus G15 R7 6800H RTX 3060. I prefer the higher screen res (1440p) and light weight of the zephyrus (1.9kg) as I'll be going to college soon but am confused if buying a 3060 laptop will be right in 2024 as it does not have frame gen. Will it be better to get the zephyrus due to better screen, speakers, build, 1TB SSD and form factor?

Hp win in GPU but build quality Helio Neo 16 win, so many victus have problem with blue screen and The hinge is a bit unreliable

I just bought a Helios Neo 16, same as you, but when I play "The Witcher 3" and "Spiderman: Remastered", my CPU temp ALWAYS goes to 83°c, even in a low graphic settings, any advise would be helpful🥲
PS: I've already have my battery management to power mode, and fan to the max, not turbo, but still 83°c.
Use laptop stand or something to elevate the laptop from table's surface
Let it to turbo and before playing games remember to close everything that is running and don't give permission to auto boot after start

12540hx is less powerful than 13420h tho u can get it in 70k using cc 10% discount and student discount of 7% tho i prefer u to buy adp along it if ur buying it in 88k then its overpriced neo has better thermal better cpu and better battery backup
If you can afford a little more, get the LOQ 4050 instead, it's features are just too good to pass up, Ideally 4060 but 4050 is quite enough for 1080p

Asus tuf and hp victus have bad thermals, acer nitro 5 and lenovo loq have good thermals and with cooling pad temperature decreases 5-7°C

Wanting an i7 is personally just so overkill unless you are doing productivity as your livelihood, but in gaming, it's just way too overkill, even a 12th i5 gen CPU can accommodate a 4060 enough.
