It took them a few minutes to realize, "Wait a minute, something's not right...how can she be pregnant with Keiichi's child when she left him over a year ago?" Like, pregnancy being 9 months is common knowledge, and none of them realized it until Noa raised the point after a few minutes of nonsensical drama? Who wrote this script, an elementary school kid?

It makes sense and is a common gambit in cons. What Kaho did was put Keiichi in a state of confusion by showing up "pregnant" and kept pushing the issue without giving him time to think. Like I said, that's how most cons work.
On the other hand, Noa was left to the side grabting her clarity, realized what was going on, and tried to address it diplomatically, telling Kaho to back down as an opening speech rather than calling her a liar.

First of all, WHY did nobody else figure it out sooner, let alone the very man who NEVER GOT BUSY WITH HER FOR OVER A YEAR?! Seriously, Noa may have figured it out but far too late into the conversation. And nobody in attendance said anything either, even though there must’ve been at least ONE person there who knows how pregnancy works! Everyone in that chapel is an idiot! And I’m an idiot for being the least bit invested in the story during that point!
Second of all, the fact that Keiichi seriously wondered whether or not he was really the father should’ve been a red flag right there. Harkening back to my previous argument, she split up with him a year ago. So if he were smart he’d have known right away he hadn’t gotten her pregnant unless he’d had a secret rendezvous with her during that year. And if he had to consider that in any way, Noa should’ve figured out he was cheating and should’ve immediately dumped his dumb ass. Luckily he’s no cheater; just a dumbass.
I know what you’re thinking; easy to criticize, so why not make your own and submit it? Well I would, but all I have are story plots and neither the talent to illustrate them myself nor the means to contact the Aoharu channel admins. Plus the plots I’ve written out are based in high school and I think that they want to focus on Keiichi as an adult going forward.
But back to this story. Thankfully it all worked out well in the end. I always enjoy seeing Keiichi and Noa fall in love and get their happy ending. I know I couldn’t make heads or tails of Kaho’s logic, but it felt so good for the truth to finally come out. Thanks for tonight’s story and I look forward to future stories.
