Ok, first off... I've been a Floral Designer for over 25 years, the moment you cut a flower stem, if it doesn't go into the water, it sucks in air and it begins to seal. If you want any flowers to last, have your container with water completely done and ready to go BEFORE you make that first cut. And ALWAYS cut each stem at an angle. If they are flat, they tend to hit the bottom of the container and not drink like they should.

IKEA can look fantastic when combined well. Now I’m not as much a cheap VS expensive person. I just enjoy aesthetics a lot wether the item happens to be expensive or not
Come on people!! For you all out there having a problem with her "expensive " caption, just be happy for her whether you have it or not, or can't afford it right now. Just remember if you can't be happy for someone doing well now then when tomorrow you are the one well to do there is someone going to be just like you're now, a jealous person who will play spoilsport in your happiness!
The problem is her pretending she isn't rich she knows what she owns is expensive and she seems pretty rich to a level very few ppl can reach in 20 30 years 😂
@@msunje9862 $5? Where? Hydrangeas are some of the most expensive flowers. You would pay at least $5 for a single stem and there are 3 stems in each bunch.
Huh those flowers are 5 dollars, I wouldn’t call that expensive. And since when it’s your 10 dollar copper bowl from target 80 now ?? Y’all are so desperate to Bish at her
Couple of pro tips: You need way more water in that vessel. Hydrangeas drink like crazy and those stems will soon be out of water and wilting. Also, by the time you put those stems into your vase, the fresh cuts were already drying out. Add your flower food, fill your vessel with plenty of water and cut each stem directly before placing it in the bowl (like, be quick about it or better yet, cut the stems underwater). Also side note to the people saying these flowers must be worth a ton of cash... those are from the grocery store - they're pretty cheap really. Mine sells 6 stems for $12.
You can always make your home beautiful without being frivolous. It’s called being creative and resourceful especially if you have a garden with beautiful flowers 🌸 you can cut to decorate your lovely dining room or any parts of your “expensive home” 🥳. Thanks for the tip!
Idk if someone will read my comment but for those who aren’t as rich as this blessed lady (me), here is what I did. My dollar tree store had this exact same bowl (cheaper quality of course and about half the size of this bowl), I just bought that and about 5-7 of those fake flowers they have. I got different colors like golden glittery petals, bronze flowers, and some orange and red. I laid them out just like she did in this video and set it in the middle of my kitchen table. It looks “expensive” and very beautiful - all for $10 or less. Best part is they last forever lol ❤️🌸
For those struggling to make ends meet, buy second hand! So many beautiful things end up at a thrift store and you can buy them super inexpensively. A clean humble house shows off your hard work more than a fancy mansion. Most of us live humbly with little money to spare at month's end. Just take happiness from taking care of your responsibilities. Sometimes that as good as it gets! Love and hugs to you each! 😘😘😘💞💝
I like the golden bowl and white flowers concept ❤️ thanks for sharing! I'd probably put a smaller elevated bowl inside the big gold bowl so that the finish look will have the flowers in the middle elevated and not flat looking.
How to make your house look expensive: buy a million dollar home; furnish it with another $250k worth of furnishings... buy a hammered copper bowl for $280 from William-Sonoma and fill with $100 worth of flowers. Set this bowl on your $80k mahogany table and voilá - your home looks expensive!! 👌
