This new version of the popular sinhala christmas song ( which is known to be the first ever Sri Lankan "SINHALA group song with Harmonies " to receive air play at SLBC way back in DEC 1957. ) is sung by singers Devashrie de Silva, Ruwan Weerasekera and Lelum Ratnayake of the Band Mahesh and Friends' Fusion, a.k.a. "MaFF' .for Hiru TV christmas day midnight Carols program 2013 .
The Song was originally composed by Mahesh's father Mr Patrick Denipitiya,, Lyrics by Mr Upali Attnayake and sung by a Group consisting of singers R Shelton Mendis, Razeena Yakeem, CD Fonseka, Anjlalene Lanerolle and also Patrick singing harmony)
