The big question, on Brydon's funeral, will be if the "Aah-haa!" is simply a reference to Alan Partridge, or a more meta reference to The Trip.

"Huh, think I better DIE now!" has been stuck in my head for literal months and I knew it was Brydon but couldn't for the life of me find where he said. Only now after hours of scouring through old WILTY episodes, have I found where it comes from. Thank fuck and all cos that would have tortured me for a very long time.

After watching the trip series and seeing Greed during the pandemic , I’m convinced that Steve would be a wonderful long weekend with brunch shag. Not sure how important the whole Alan partridge thing is.
