"I didn't read much, only 6 books in March."
Me: looks at my read pile to find 2 books from all of March
I read Anne of Green Gables for the first time and it was so cute, wholesome and somewhat whimsical Loved it. Fav for sure
Okay not book related at all but I love that shirt!! Way to slay
I've been really wanting to read these last few months, but it's been difficult with school. That being said, I've been reading a lot of poetry collections because they're so much easier to get through and take breaks when I need to do homework. This way I can still read a book while not getting too behind on my homework.
I read 14 books in March. My only 5 star read was Anne of Avonlea which honestly, 5 stars might be a bit of a stratch for that book, but in my mind L.M. Montgomery cannot miss!! Like the plot of this one was way less interesting than Anne of Green Gables and the character development was sliggtly less on point, BUT her writing style is just perfect prose and reading her books just feels like a warm hug. Its too hard for me to not give it full points. lol!
Some other books I read this month and rated highly (but not quite 5 stars) include: The Sentence by Louise Erdrich (Another author that rarely misses) and Also the graphic memoir Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe.
If you're looking for an indulgent, fluffy LGBTQ romance, I also enjoyed Simon vs. the Homo-Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.
I had to dnf the devil makes three but not because it was bad, but that I could tell it was going to be a middle of the road three star read, and I want my reads to be better than that ideally? And I could see it coming from the first 100 pages. I remember when you were reading let's play online and it's always so nice when online webtoons get physical editions!
Great wrap up 📚☕
In March I read "Buried Moon" retold by Margaret Hodges and illustrated by Jamichael Henterly, "Tarnished and Torn" and "A Vision in Velvet" from the Witchcraft Mysteries series by Juliet Blackwell, and "Murder Gone Cold" in the Colt Brothers Investigations series by B.J. Daniels
I finished Project Hail Mary this month which I enjoyed more than I thought I would, I'm not a big sci-fi reader.
I’ve been wanting to check out that series! I’ve heard it’s great for us non-sci-fi readers haha
i love that shirt!
✨ If you are looking for something amazing and different, I read a heartfelt and hopeful book called “Apparitions” by Adam Pottle! ✨
Ooh! I’ll look this up. Thank you for the rec!
Not me watching this and remembering that I started reading Let's Play on webtoon years ago and I totally forgot about it. Guess I'm gonna have to go back to that...
I read 5 books in March which is normal for me but the best book I read by far was Morning Star by Pierce Brown, I really loved it!
I had fun in March with my reading. I've read The Lion by Nelson DeMille and Knife of Dreams by Robert Jordan.
Amazing! I’ll have to look into those titles.
March was a pretty decent reading month (for me). I finished my reread of The Two Towers by J. R. R. Tolkien and started rereading The Return of the King, and I also started and completed two books: Longitude by Dava Sobel and The Watchmaker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley.
wow! sounds VERY decent to me haha
I think the best books I read in March were “In the Role of Brie Hutchens” by Nicole Melleby and “Interesting Facts about Space” by Emily Austin ✨
Ooh! I’m intrigued by interesting facts about space 👀 Even though I *highly key* find space TERRIFYING 😭
I read so much (for me) manga in March, and I loved it. I really liked reading them in between novels because it still fulfilled my itch for reading without overwhelming me. I read Boruto and A Man and His Cat; the latter is so adorable and made me both laugh and smile.
In terms of books, my absolute favorite has to be The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. As soon as I finished it, I wanted to reread it, and now I have to buy my own copy. It's a fantasy murder mystery that gave me Attack on Titan/Pacific Rim vibes. I loved it.
So now I need to read Let’s Play
I had an excellent reading month, one of my best in probably two years! I highly recommend most of what I read. I think you’d love Gather by Kenneth M. Cadow, which is a YA survivalist story with a dog set in rural Vermont. I also think you’d love Only This Beautiful Moment by Abdi Nazemian, and I feel like you’ve mentioned it before.
And then for adult romances, please please pick up Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez & You With a View by Jessica Joyce. Two of my favorite romance novels and writers of all time!!
You say you liked the setting and the lore of 'The Lamb Will Slaughter the Lion' and I think in that case you might enjoy 'The Summer Hikaru Died' which is a manga with kind of similar vibes to what you're describing here. It has 3 volumes out so far and it's really really good, falls into horror/mystery and it takes place in a small town in the japanese countryside and there are some strange goings-on that involve some sort of mountain spirit, and the main characters are two best friends. The art is gorgeous as well!
Amazing collection! I can only read 1 book a month . I find it hard to read multiple books , without breaks in between
I read only 3 books in March. Butt got lucky with one 5 star read and two 4 star books.
5⭐️for Wundersmith by Jessica Townsend. I‘m completely and utterly in love with that series.
4⭐️ for I, Robot by Isaac Asimov and for First Rider‘s Call by Kristen Britain.
My fav book from March was Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree! It made me smile so much and it was just such a relaxing enjoyable read
My brother's friend has read 59 books this year so far... And me, I have started 3 books but finished none of them yet.
Had a reading outburst(?) In dec and read like 11 books. Only to fall into a slump of 0 reads since🙃
Very off-topic but your shirt looks really cool. 💗
Umm one piece volume 20-40 and I've been killing slimes for 300 years and maxed out my level I love both of them I can't wait to read more of one piece
Not me having to check my goodreads to see what I've read... I read the Prisoner's Throne by Holly Black and I think it could have been better tbh. I also read the Paper Magician on KU which was such a good concept but not very well executed
In March, I read 8 books, apparently. Thank god for Goodreads/Storygraph. In order of enjoyment/ratings:
-I finished A River Enchanted. It was sooo good. Thank you for sharing, Jesse!
-The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller, I really liked it although I am not sure why...
-What the River Knows by Isabel Ibanez (made me really nostalgic for The Mummy and The Mummy Returns which I loved growing up)
-A Fire Endless - happy with the conclusion to the Elements of Cadence duology but I tend to love the first book and not like the last book quite as much.
-The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, again another conclusion that I was okay with. Really enjoyed book 1
-Light from Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki - a really unexpected ride
-Verify by Joelle Charbonneau
and finally The Never King which is first in a series and I will not be continuing with said series.
You read double the amount of books I read 😂 I enjoyed most of my books. I read Damsel by Elana K. Arnold, Tomboy, and Cat + Gamer Volume 1. Cat + Gamer wasn’t a win for me plot-wise but the adorable cat totally makes up for it 🐈
I went a little heavy on the audiobooks this month and read 52 books in March. My favorites were hatchet by Gary Paulson, crown of midnight by Sarah j mass, swarm by Jennifer d Lyle, and the true meaning of smekday by Adam Rex
I read the Hatchet last year and really enjoyed it.
It’s a book I’ve been hearing about since I was a kid; it only took me 20 years to pick it up
@@emmawagner8915 it took me 36 years. I got it for a reading challenge to "read a book from the year you were born"
@@AsuraSantosha oh that’s a cool challenge!
Idk who i think i am but I'm currently in the midst of three different book series.
I got into the Vampire Chronicles series by Anne Rice this month, which got me out of a long reading slump. currently on book 3.
also just started on Daindreth's Assassin by Elizabeth Wheatly, which is a complete fantasy romance series.
and i recently reread one of my favorites The Hobbit,
which got me really motivated,
and now im almost finished with Fellowship of the Ring so apparently thats also a series im reading at this point.
again i do not know what the hell im thinking, but I mean im having a great time! 😂
I read 8 books last month.
I finished Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert, Saving Sophie by Sam Carrington, the 2 of the STEMinist Novellas by Ali Hazelwood, Can Someone Please Explain What's Going On Volume 1 by Tsuredurebana (light novel), my yearly reading of the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, Get a Life Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert, and I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jenette McCurdy.

Hi Jesse, how are you?
Did you read "A Deadly Education" trilogy by Naomi Novik?
❤
Ohk jesse has a wrap up 😅😅😅 it's been a long time 😅
My bad egg was They Never Learn by Layne Fargo, which was total misandry crap. Luckily it was just a library book.
