  • If you have pets and you worry about leaving them in your RV alone, the Waggle Pet Monitor will provide you peace of mind while you are gone. It will monitor not only the temperature of your RV but also the power supply. If the temperature goes outside of your preset range or the power goes out, the Waggle using Verizon cellular will email and or text you an alert within seconds. The app also allows you to constantly check the current temperature and humidity in your RV while you are gone. The Waggle allows us to go out to dinner and not worry about our dogs in the RV providing us that peace of mind that our fur babies are ok.

    If you have an extra cell phone and wifi/hotspot or cell service all you need is the Alfred camera app. Then point one camera on the phone at a thermometer and the other one at the pups. Then you are all set.

    We use a Bluetooth barbecue grill monitor, we can check the temperature anytime we want and it also has an alert on it

    I like the Waggle. I wouldn’t mind having it for my house with my dog. We needed something that would help our animals out while we are away. Glad they came up with this Waggle. It sure does help. I’m glad it works for your home as well as your Rv. Thank you Patrick and Patty for this video. See you on down the road.

      That’s the great thing...it can be used at home or in the RV or both!

    We crate our dogs and have the GoVee... uses wifi. This monitors the temperature. Always good to learn about different products. Thank you for sharing. ~ Brad and Diana

      I had not heard of the GoVee before but see a few people mention it. These products are nice to protect our fur babies

    This looks like a fantastic piece of equipment. Much needed when you have pets. A bit pricey but I thank you for this post.

    This is great! We just had a power outage at the park we are at, I would have never known if I was not home. This is what we need for Bella and Bentley.

    Looks like a good product! The annual fee for monitoring isn't to bad either. Definitely cheaper than other similar products on the market. I use a product from Govee to monitor temps & humidity in our home & RV and cameras from Wyze to peek in. I should mention that I have a dedicated network connection in my RV as well. I think this product would be helpful to a lot of folks for various reasons. Thanks for sharing! Steve

    she this is what is so interesting about the prius it’s like your home A/C it uses an electric compressor that runs on the battery bank power and when battery gets low the engine turns on the battery charges up quick and engine turns off!

    I can totally understand why you would worry about your pets. We have had many pets over the years but as of 2020, we are no longer pet owners. We have decided not to get another pet but I would agree that this would be a great help if we did get a pet again. We are interested in getting a camera inside our RV or maybe outside to see what is going on when we are out and about sight seeing. I think a pet owner would want a camera as well to see what their pet is doing while they are gone. Have you considered some type of camera?
    PS Our snow was beautiful and melted in the same day.

    To the person who suggested using the portable air conditioner in the car...my husband made one for about $15 using a Cooler he bought from Goodwill, a small portable fan that plugs into our 12V in the car, and some pvc pipe. We use it often.

    Nice option from Verizon. Might have to investigate ourselves. Camera might be a nice future development. Thanks.

  • @deborahsleith8879

    Can you use it boondocking if you don't have an inverter? Is there some kind of 12v adapter? Does it still transmit temperature data if the power is lost? We're traveling for the first time with a dog, and we need to pick your brains on how to do it successfully!

    • @TravelswithDelaney
      @TravelswithDelaney  Před 3 lety

      Yes...you can plug it directly in to a USB port in your trailer or it will operate off the internal battery....not sure what the battery life is. It does still transmit because it has an internal battery.

    Hey Great videos! Can you add the 50 Amp version of the Hughes Autoformer / surge suppressor (not the can) to your shop? I'm going to buy one, but I would like to see you get something. DM me when you do. Please do it before Prime Day! Thanks!

    Another great idea which I practice all the time is to advise my nearest neighbor that my fur baby is being left alone in the RV. So should a fire spark up or I am too far to make it back within minutes, my neighbor is aware and have permission to do what it takes to save my pets.

    What about using that cooler you got a couple of weeks ago, that would also keep the dogs cool....I thought about having one of those for a car use

    • @TravelswithDelaney
      @TravelswithDelaney  Před 3 lety

      Yes....the IcyBreeze definitely can be used to help keep the kiddos cool

  • @rosemarydoran9907
    @rosemarydoran9907 Před 3 lety +1

    Love this idea as I would be so afraid to leave my babies! Speaking of safety, do you use any products that make sure no one can pick up your trailer, hitch it up and go while you are away? Also, are there any kind of security systems that would alert to either to windows breaking, door lock breaking, etc.? Just curious......maybe future video topics? Thanks!

    • @TravelswithDelaney
      @TravelswithDelaney  Před 3 lety

      We highly recommend the Fort Know tongue lock for your trailer. We don’t use any security system currently but we have seen a couple of RV’s that use the SimpliSafe security system on their units.

    Thanks for the information!! Going to look into this for our travels with our fuzzy friends. Quick question, if the power blinks, there is a message that is sent to notify of power loss. But if the power comes back on, is there another message sent that power has been restored? Thanks! Your Channel is awsome!

    • @TravelswithDelaney
      @TravelswithDelaney  Před rokem

      We LOVE our Waggle. It just gives us peace of mind. If the power goes out, it will sent texts and emails. If it comes back on, you get a notification that power is restored.

    Hi, Thanks for your vlog. I am going to buy this one next week. but I am worry to drive. is it okay that I tow tis one with Nissan Amada ? Thanks annie , from vegas

    • @TravelswithDelaney
      @TravelswithDelaney  Před 2 lety

      I am not sure what the towing specs are on an Amada. You should check the owners manual to see what it is capable of towing. Look at towing capacity, tongue weight capacity and also payload.

    So this would only work if you have Verizon? We have T Mobil

    • @TravelswithDelaney
      @TravelswithDelaney  Před 3 lety +1

      It’s not actually tied to your cell phone. It has it’s own service which is through Verizon. We have ATT Cellphones so it doesn’t matter which carrier your phones are.
