  • www.jordanouts... Ka'anapali Beach and Black Rock Beach are must visit Beaches in Maui. We parked at the Whalers Village parking lot. This is paid parking, but if you make a purchase in the Whalers Village Shopping Mall, they can validate your parking ticket. It costs $3 per half hour and the shopping validation covers up to 3 hours. After we parked, we took our parking ticket with us and headed to the beach. To get there, you walk through the open-air shopping mall. At the end you will see the beach entrance to Ka'anapali Beach. When you walk out onto the beach, if you turn right or go north that will take you to Black Rock Beach. It's called Black Rock because of an enormous black rock at the end of the beach. Black Rock Beach has great snorkeling and some cool places to jump off of the rock. We hung out and snorkeled at Black Rock Beach. Then we decided to walk the entire beach. Going from Black Rock Beach to the end of Ka'anapali Beach at Hanakao'o Park is about 1.4 miles long. Ka'anapali Beach has amazing hotels all the way down with beautiful palm trees and really soft sand. There are sections of the beach that we could see people surfing too. This beach is so beautiful and we absolutely loved it.
