oliver Manley He’s too arrogant for me. He uses terms he thinks are ones barbers use like “connect”. I’m a barber, he means fade. And then he criticizes people’s beard in how to “improve them” but he can’t even see how stupid his eyebrows look!

The taper on the neck was so clean!🔥 next time he should definitely taper the sides as well! The taper on the sides would go So well with the beard!
Honestly one of the best if not the best barber they have had on beard brand. Other barbers i always see something that looks funky but in the videos this guy is in cut always comes out clean. Good technique and i like his style and personality. You got a good one beard brand!

Exact same thing happened to me. I messed up my hair giving myself a haircut. Then went to the barber to get it fixed. Never tried it again.

Hey Ricky.....try fixing his eyebrow that's been bothering us from we subscribed😂...I still love this channel though♥️
So Jack, I have a couple questions first, why when you have access to guys like Ricky do you go five months between haircuts? Next, why when you knew Ricky was coming in did you feel the need to cut your own hair? Was it something you did on a lark or was there a purpose I missed? You know there are guys out here watching that would kill to have a barber like Ricky or Jake cut their hair. You've been blessed with the connections you've made with Beardbrand and you seem to take them for granted. Sorry, I don't mean to get down on you I just don't understand why and had to ask.
I can't speak for everyone here, but personally, I like going a few months between haircuts because it makes for more interesting videos (I rarely get haircuts off-camera nowadays)
Second, I cut my hair before Ricky came to the studio BECAUSE he coming to the studio. I thought it'd be fun to see how I did cutting my own hair, but felt safe knowing that even if I screwed up,
Ricky was coming later to fix me up.

@@Beardbrand Okay, makes sense. It does make for more dramatic before and after looks and I would imagine allows for more stylistic possibilities.
Okay, so it was a lark to cut your own hair knowing you had a fallback. Thought that might have been the case since you seemed to be careful to leave enough hair for Ricky to work with later. I know you said doing the neckline was the most difficult part. That's actually the part I feel comfortable doing on my own. To do it I stand with my back to the mirror above the bathroom vanity and use a smaller hand mirror to look over my shoulder at the mirror behind me. Learned that trick from a female friend. You just need to be careful because movements appear reversed. I use my pinky finger as a placement guide.
