The problem starts, when you keep enquiring but heaven is silent.

Remain in God's waiting room, he always answers we just need to be attentive enough to listen. He's a lovely God, an awesome God who's ready to answer by fire...
Discernment as well is key
That's why you build that relationship before problem starts.
Seek His face when the evil days are yet to come.
Then you'll know how and the ways you can hear Him clearly, how to be joyous in the waiting room and not to be impatient but enjoy tarrying in His Presence â€

Aside from what all have mentioned, often times we don't get answers because we haven't confessed sin and repented (turn away from the sin). Start there before you enquire

Too much flesh-teaching in churches that see all opportunity as 'of God'.
I've been in a wilderness for sometime and God has not been speaking or giving me things the way some preachers say I should be getting them. He is teaching me in this wilderness. I am patiently waiting for my break through and provision for the Task.
I'm 63, still above ground, and only He knows why I am still here.
Many who claim to know Him often give the worst advice. "Go make something happen" is not what HE is telling me to do right now. Actually, no doors have opened for work or financial blessings, which I know it's because of HIM.
I continue to surrender and learn during this time of isolation.

I have two amswers from God, based off of scripture..a few days ago he told me "stay silent ill fight for you" and it was kinda confirmed on my spirit, now He probably says "pursue them, overtake for you shall recover all".. my relatives have my inheritance and have abondoned me without notice, i initially planned to go to court and face off with them but again i am convinced God can do it in a way so impossible that they will know it only had to be Him ! Either way its God but which way shoul i go ! đ€Č

But Apostle Joshua Selman if you can read this message anytime .How then do we hear from God.I really hear you clearly but my worry is will i be able to hear when God speaks.The thing is I do love to hear from God
God speaks through his word,if you constantly read the scriptures you will then understand when he speaks or if its Satan speaking.
Yes primarily is the word (be familiar with His voice) and do not fret because your His sheep and we hear His voice! So when you pray give your self a silent minute or two to hear from him. On my experience it comes as a scripture in my mind, or I hear a scripture in my subconscious thought, or now I even see things in dreams and visions (but this comes at a later stage). Also whatâs most important is to feel peace and for it to be in sync with His word! Keep being persistent to hear and see, keep reading His word and keep giving a minute to hear after praying consistently.
Hearing God is simple remember is more eager to speak to you than you are to listen to him... meaning to say God was to speak to you twice as much....so after you speak in tongues for a few minutes ..keep quiet for a few minutes
....I can assure you you will hear God..... another principle is read the word of God frequently so that you can be familiar with what God wants....try to pray for some today a friend maybe...and ask them what you heard.....

Continue to pray, seek the counsel of spiritual mentors/advisors, and where necessary make decisions in faith and ask God to override whatever is not in alignment with His will. He will not put you to shame. Sometimes God allows that uncertainty so we can learn to trust Him more. Trusting and hearing from Him is a process - something we grow into. We must take steps of faith to reach higher levels.
Again, God will not put you to shame. Pray, ask for His guidance and where necessary, take steps of faith if you feel you are being led by His Spirit. He will come to your defence.
