Oregon Rail Heritage Center's Restored Turntable Feat: SP 4449!

On October 14th 2023, ORHF celebrated the Brooklyn turntable that was once operated by the Brooklyn roundhouse. Built in 1924, the turntable used to switch steam locomotives & train cars. In 2011, the roundhouse was demolished, and the turntable was saved. In 2019, ORHF got enough money to built the turntable, and 4 years later, the turntable was finished with construction.
Get ready to witness the rebirth of the 99 year old Brooklyn turntable that will change steam locomotives in the other direction for many years to come!
