- Here's my new Panasonic exhaust fan, model FV-40AFU. I bought this fan to replace the 97' National. It still does work, but isn't really capable of moving the air around the room. This fan is kinda oversized, but I bought it anyway because it has been in my wishlist since I was 5.
This fan is pretty unbalanced, and is on the noisier side, but it's tolerable for me.
Fun fact, its predecessor, the National FV-40AFU(yes they both share the same model number) has the same issue with the blades being out of balance. I think their manufacturer which is Panasonic Gobel Indonesia use the same cutting machine to make the blades for the National, Panasonic, & KDK(40AAS). That's why the blades on most of these fans are out of balance.
This fan is made by PT. Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia.

One or two of the blades are out of balanced which is why it went backwards when spinning down good fan video super powerful and enjoyed the video

Pana's 4blade series has been on sale for over 30 years. It's recently stopped.
Oh that's sad to hear. It's still for sale here, the demand for it, and the KDK version is still relatively high.

You better change bearings. Like in washing machines, these big bearings make 'plane turbine' noise over time.
There’s no point changing the bearings on mine as they’re still perfectly smooth

That power supply is for my work lamp. And no, it didn't come with a fan from the factory, which is concerning as it tends to get very hot under normal load.

That’s odd that the blades out of balance because it looks like the factory attempted to balance them with metal weights. It sounds really good when it runs!
Those shiny metal things are magnets. I stuck them there in an attempt to balance the blades. It does sound good when it runs

actually, model bentuk exhaust fan ini sebenarnya sudah ada di jepang sejak 1976 bukan dari akhir 1990an - awal 2000an, jadi nggak herankan kenapa harga baru exhaust fan ini gelap

Anginnya keluar ruangan. Tempat kipas ini dipasang bisa lebih sejuk kalau kipasnya dinyalakan jika suhu ruangan tempat kipas dipasang lebih tinggi dari suhu udara luar.
Mas kalau ditaruh di atas plafon bisa juga gak sih. Exhaust industri ini.

Tergantung mau digunakan untuk apa. Kalau untuk kamar tidur ya baiknya yang ukuran 8 sampai 12 inci yg 2 arah, tapi kalau garasi, gudang besar dll baru kipas ini cocok.

Wow. For a fan with blades that size, it has an unnaturally long spindown.
Panasonic & KDK are well known for their super smooth bearings, that's the reason why this fan's spindown time is so long

Punya saya juga begitu. Kipas ini baling²nya tidak seimbang dari pabrikan, bisa jadi instalasi yang tidak kuat, atau sirip depan yang kendor. Punya saya tiap kali hidup sirip siripnya bergetar.
