I see that Natasha Denona is currently having a 20% off sitewide sale on their website, with the exceptions of their newest products. The Hy-Glam Powder Foundation, Hy-Per Natural Face Palette, and My MIni Dream Palette and Glow Blush are not included in the sale, but the popular I Need A Nude eyeshadow palette is on sale. Maybe I will pick up the Yucca and Retro Glam palettes myself.
I noticed during editing that my mascara (Victoria Beckham Vast Lash) smeared a bit underneath one of my eyes toward the end of the video, and I just didn't feel up to starting over again and reshooting. I hope that someday making these videos starts to seem easier! Thanks much for your indulgence with regard to this error. ❤

Natasha makes a point of saying, better to 'pat in' rather than swiping or swirling her new powder foundation

Thank you for sharing that. I was really happy with how it applied the way that I did it though. 💘

Lisa I am so happy to have found your channel. It’s perfect for me. We are the same age, same kind of skin in general. Love how methodical and real you are and how much effort you put into every aspect. thank you!

I have the Yucca pallet and it’s lovely. I am fair skinned with green eyes and salt & pepper hair. I adore fall colors and this hits the mark for me. I really enjoy your posts.

I would definitely be interested in more powder foundation reviews. I have the Fenty powder foundation and have liked it, although I haven’t used it in a long time. I was using it when I was traveling, and it was very handy for that.

This sounds very promising. The only other pressed powder foundation I've tried is the Jane Iredale one, which is decent but I feel like it doesn't last as long as I'd like.

That is interesting to hear your report about the Jane Iredale foundation - thanks much for sharing that! ❤

Hi Lisa, I'm a new subscriber and am greatly enjoying your channel. Your reviews are saving me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Also? This color combo is just gorgeous on you! I am just a few years younger than you and because of a chronic illness, then Covid, went through "the change" without wearing makeup like I had for 30+ years. In the last year playing around again, my skin and features just don't work with makeup I used to wear. I'd say it's reverse puberty, but back then I didn't need three different strengths of glasses depending on distance. 🤭

I definitely agree that the makeup and skincare that I used earlier in my life hasn't worked at all during recent years. I"m glad that you have found this channel and that it has been helpful to you! ❤

Hi Lisa! Nice review. I'm still skeptical of powder foundations, as I'm very dry, but this looks nice. I've noticed your skin looking brighter and clearer (probably after using that darned expensive Bader product) and the eye and lip colors you selected are really pretty on you. I do like a darker liner on you, as it makes your eyes stand out more, just as the dark eyeshadow from the Byredo palette did. I'm a low contrast complexion/eyes/hair person like you, so maybe I need to think about using a liner as well! As usual, appreciate the thorough review!

I started using the Augustinus Bader on both sides of my face maybe two weeks ago and so maybe it is starting to make a difference? For some reason I was convinced for a while that using much eyeliner was not looking good on me, but I've kind of been enjoying it recently, not sure. why. Hmmm. ❤

Wow, cannot believe how good that powder foundation looks! It also seems like the eye shadows can be manipulated a good bit after application. I may have to look into using the 20% to put my toe in the water with Natasha Denona. I will use your links if I do. Thanks, Lisa!

I do really like all the Natasha Denona eyeshadows that I have tried so far as well as that powder foundation. It would be nice if the products were on display at Ulta soon. ❤

Have you tried Wellpeople bio powder foundation or any of their products. Maybe you can look into this brand.

Oh, Well People was one of the first brands that I focused on and I think I have tried almost everything that they offer except for that powder foundation. That's a good idea! ❤

    Hello,
I am 47 years old and have very sensitive, very dry skin with rosacea and sensitive eyes. (I am the red haired green eyed type) So far I only have the Pastel Palette by Natasha Denona. I love the formulation and the colors very much but I have the suspicion that I (some?) of the "non-glitter-shimmer" colors are not quite tolerable. I haven't had any problems with my eyes with the shimmery colors. With the powdery colors, it may also depend on the intensity of the application and the wearing time. I would also be interested to know if anyone else has had the same experience?
Nevertheless, I am thinking about buying the Retro Glam Palette when there is a sale / good offer.
By the way, my "problem" is that I have such sensitive dry skin that I can forget about all types of foundation because even if I can tolerate them myself, my skin cannot tolerate the intensive cleansing afterwards - no matter how mild the product itself is. It takes a certain amount of intensive cleansing to get the products out of the pores.
One more question: Have you also tested the Hy Glam Concealer or are you planning to? I would be interested in that too :-)
    All the best, Maria

Hi Maria, thanks much for your comment! I don't see the Pastel Palette on the ND website at present and so cannot check the ingredient list, but I am wondering if some of the synthetic colors might have been an issue for you since those can irritate my eyes. (Usually I do okay with those if I put a good concealer on my eyelids as a primer though.). The concealer lists fragrance/parfum on the ingredient list, and so I have skipped that one. I would be interested in trying the Retro Glam Palette too.
I have found that some foundations (especially ones with silicone and especially ones that are marked as "waterproof") are very difficult for me to get off as well. Some of the non-silicone foundations have been much better for me though. Maybe that would be a good idea for a video.
Thanks again for your comment - I hope you will share more of your experiences here! ❤

Thank you for your answer :-)
I don't wear concealer or foundation at the moment. I bought the Hourglass Concealer and am satisfied with the color choice and compatibility, but not so much with the result itself, which is due to my problematic dry skin. I've never used concealer as an eye primer before, but I might give it a try. That's why I'm now doing an intensive skincare routine with serum from a good German brand, Annemarie Börlind, which I can always tolerate. However, I bought a new eyeshadow palette from ABH, the first for me from this brand, Nouveau, with which I am satisfied so far after 2 looks with matte and shimmer colors.
They are exactly my colors and I really hoped to tolerate them, which has been successful so far. If anything changes, I will be happy to write about it.
In general, I have to say that I prefer to wear non-waterproof products (including sunscreen) that can be removed quickly. I only have one waterproof mascara (from Benefit) for "emergencies" ;-)
      All the best, Maria
