Battlefield 2042 Helicopter Gameplay Time for More Hokum

- Dice has announced there will be a Season 6. Unfortunately, it's delayed and all of us Battlefield players will have to wait until middle of October. We should be hearing some additional news about Season 6 early October. I'm sure many of you have watched the Dice development update video, well I should say it was just a teaser. In the meantime, Dice is doing a six weeklong Redux event that will include all past season events. Not sure I want to do a re-run of the past events, well because that's history and in the past. I am excited for the new map in Season 6. I guess my wish came true if it's a night map. Also, there's a rumor we will be getting a new vehicle. We will have to wait and see. Could be new amor or aircraft.
In this video we will be flying in the Hokum and Blacksheep will be flying with us. The Hokum skin is the Moravian Eagle and was part of the Season 5 battle pass. We get some amazing jet kill and of course a great dog fight at the end. Sit back relax and enjoy the flight!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to have the hardest time with little birds. Aside from sneaky TOR tanks, those are the worst.
Yep, those little birds can be tough, especially with a good pilot. They come at you fast.

When trying to peg a jet from middle to long range, flip to the un-obstructed 3rd person view. The little dot reticle is easier to use than the in-cockpit view which is obfuscated by the cockpit.

I really don't mind much the redux event. I could not play the first and fourth mid-season events, so I think it is a good chance for me to catch up.

@@CodeNameZuluI would say best place to practice would be against Ai bots in solo conquest or a portal server. Just so that you can practice the flight mechanics of the helicopters. I know it might sound boring, but just flying around the maps will help you. You have to get that flight time in. Try different banks, turns, etc. 👍
That seamless cut @1:33! Did you just flip on all the HUD elements or did you recreate the flight path in a private server to seamlessly cut into gameplay??
Edit: Oh okay, I see. You're putting in back-view clips throughout the video. They're nice as repites between big kills.
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed those subtle pieces in the video. I actually created a portal server. I made it a Mil Sim without all the huds, reticles, no Ai, ect. Just me in the server getting footage. Lots of planning behind it to get those transition pieces to line up as best as I could. The intro was the toughest in order to get the flight path lined up and transition into the game footage. 👍
Hopelly S6 has some good attack heli updates.

What a shame you can no longer go to that spot in Breakaway, or the Stadium in Hourglass. The maps are a little better now I guess but they should have not removed these iconic areas..
I agree, it's a shame. That was a great spot up there and beautiful scenery too! That spot had the longest zip line in history to get up there. 😂

Redux may be fun. But boy geez how whiny the community is for ANYTHING Dice puts out. They ride the line between toxic and constructive.
I know man, there's so much complaining no matter what. It's sad! I understand it was a rough start and every company makes mistakes. It happens! I can only imagine how tough it's to make a video game. I would say no game is perfect from the launch day 👍
we need more night maps,sea/island maps with boats better levolutions and bigger better EE. basically remaster BF4
Yes, I couldn't agree with your more. 🤜🤛 I miss the sea battles with the attack boats. Those were a blast and never go old. I think Season 6 map might be a night map. Keeping fingers crossed for us all! 🤞
@@swiftfrags yh season 6 will be as close as we get to a night map. gone be a odd one though as its an underground facility or at least half of it will be. 2042 missed so much. still never understood why they called it 'a love letter to the fans' when it removed everything that made battlefield ,battlefield
@@ImagineWagonsII Yep, unfortunitelly it seems that way. I am hoping for the best on this last map. 2042 definitely missed so much. They need to just keep battlefield like it should be. Reinventing the wheel sometimes isn't always a good thing. Back to the basics and the root of it all will be nice. The new battlefield concerns me.
I’ve said it before , dislike the game but every video I watch of yours makes me want to redownload the game 😅. I might give it a try again for the redux event. Also , did you go to an empty server for the beginning shot and transitioned to the actual match ?
That means a lot, thank you! The game is not perfect but is still fun to play from time to time. I try and mix it up by playing other games, then I miss playing BF2042 😂 The Redux should be fun. I am really looking forward to the new map, especially if it's a dark nighttime map.

Hey thanks man! Oh, BTW the Hokum or Apache is not OP, but the Little Bird is. 😂 One reason I stopped flying the Little Bird is because it's OP. Take away the Hokum and I will just grab something else to take care of business and help support my team. I focus on mostly Armor and Aircraft to eliminate those enemy strong points so that my team can move into objectives. It's called air support for a reason. Thanks for your comment! 🤜🤛
