Is The Update To One Of Last Years BEST Wallets Worth It? (Tempered Trail ESCO Wallet)

Last year the Tempered Trail ESCO wallet took me by surprise. It blew me away with its style and functionality, so much that I named it as one of the best wallets of 2023.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

I don’t like how the quick access slot is cut. Too much exposure of the card.

Awesome review chrispy! I personally prefer the old one. I just like how "ignorant" it looks. I was lucky enough to have a free wallet from them because of a contest, he sent me an international version of the johnny wallet. That thing is just amazing, i reevaluated it a lot after I received it. It is my travel wallet and it developed an amazing patina over time. I think he is one of the best wallet makers out there, he is very original and use high quality materials. If it weren't for the fact that I own too many wallets (thanks chrispy 😂) I would definitely order an ESCO without thinking twice.

Please can you also provide the thickness of the wallet once you have loaded it with cards and bills. Some of these leathers are quite thick and if it starts to hit the 2cm thick mark that's a deal breaker for me. I carry about 9 cards and no cash

@ChrispyThings yes. I prefer a higher angle cut. I get it you don't want cuts like all the other wallets. You want to be different. Overall the wallet looks good. Just not for me.
