Tumble → Arcadia → Butter Rum → Jive Lee from Goose's second set at Domefest 2019 located at Marvin's Mountaintop in Masontown, WV more at: goosetheband.com
Buddy of mine at work told me about these guys after seeing them at Peach fest...I literally haven't been able to stop listening to them for 2 solid weeks. I'm in love
Heard Arcadia off their studio album about a year ago... listened to the album instant like. The past 3 weeks been watching them.... oh my! Can't stop! These dudes jam! Can't wait March 3rd in Chicago! Gooooose!
This was the first bit of goose I had ever listened to, was pretty much hooked right then and there. The tumble>Arcadia had me in awe. Safe to say I immediately started delving deep into their repertoire. God I love Goose
Been at it since 6:30 AM...going on 10 PM...blastin this shit out a ranch building in northwest wyoming...only real music I’ve heard out here...where am I? Fuckin can’t wait to see you cats live! You mothafuckas kill!! Haven’t been this excited about a band since I went on panic tour in the 90’s. Keep it rollin’, fellas. This shit is right!
This is hands down one of my favorite Goose runs. There’s a moment near the start of the Arcadia jam when Trevor and Rick absolutely mesh. And the Jive Lee is insanely good 😭
This is the one I'll give to my friends who say 'Who's Goose', all easily approachable, do they go extra fast at the end of tumble or am I imagining things.
Something mighty "fishy" about these guys. I mean that in the best of ways, though. The era of Phish has raised a whole generation steeped in their brand of jam. You can't really blame a band for sounding somewhat like their would-be mentors. With that said, these guys sound like they easily achieve a listen-ability that is rare in the jamband scene, not overly repetitive or indulgent. I think they have a BIG, BIG future in a scene that seems to demand a singular big influence. It will be interesting to see how they can take the Phish sound into new territory in the same way Phish took the GD sound into unforeseen territory.
I agree in terms of their future. It's theirs to lose. In 1991 Phish sounded so raging hard and young, all over the place. And they paved the road for Goose. If Goose can mature and write great ballads to give us a breath in between these jams, or a couple poppier songs, they'll explode and go for the long haul. (And it seems they have the talent to this)
these guys are great but im not sure they're doing anything that is new and uncharted, they're just doing it very very well and with a level of smoothness and polish that few jam bands seem to achieve these days. It's very hard to innovate as a "jam band" and Phish will never be topped in that department, imo.
I think their greatest opportunity is to find a niche in writing approachable, catchy songs and develop crossover appeal. Their jams are already god-tier and they'll only get tighter as a band. Innovating sonically (more electronics) and through song style would be a great avenue for them.
@@guywoodhouse4684 you are a sad, sad human. Sorry for your existence. It's not that they sound like the Dead. They give me the same feeling inside. Why do you keep listening?! Lol
@@taylorcollie5432 i don't "keep listening" i have read about them so i clicked a few links....it's not for me. that's fine if others enjoy them, but i highly doubt this chick above my post who wrote "i hear a lot of phish and the dead" has ever even heard a single note of the dead if she thinks this rubbish sounds remotely like the dead! it certainly sounds similar to that phish crap (which also sounds NOTHING like the dead)

Me Too !!
Right there with you! I've been on the jam scene since 1984 and this is one solid bunch of musicians!
@@DawnFrankHundley I CAN"T GET ENOUGH! best thing to hit the scene since Phish and Panic

Sorry but Phish sounds nothing like the Dead
Goooooooooooooooooossssee
GAWWWDAMMMN
peter Gabriel would be so proud of that arcadia
Can us gear nerds get some rig rundowns? NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE USING FELLAS!
I'm pretty sure Rick is using a Paul Reed Smith guitar.
mmmhhmm. I know that's right.
I love this band. I'm fairly new to the Goose world but can't get enough. I just don't understand why the keyboard player always wears that disguise.
it's a mario!
That's like asking why Slash wears shades and hat. Its the look man!
I said GODDAMN
Wakkawakkawakkawakkawakka
24 people didn't like getting goosed. Too bad, it's pretty damn fun IMO!!

Apparently im into goose if theres a sit in is it geese?
"my sweet island Marvin" ??? is this about the Psychedelic Wizard in purple cloak Marvin??
10:25 Arcadia
18:45 Rum
25:18 Jive Lee
If I was next to that ayiyiyiyiyiyiyi girl, I'd have accidentally spilled my drink on her more than once.
Goose!
That is all.
Oh and 17:13
big jamhead but honestly have gotten more into phish influenced bands than phish themself, anybody got phish recomendations reminiscient?
Way more string cheesy than phish
I seem to remember having similar thoughts once myself…but these guys blow the doors off SCI
I hear a lot of the Dead and Phish.
i hear goose
no u dont. this trash sounds nothing like the dead u dum bitch
Very jiggle the handle!

God that wooing girl is SO annoying! Everything doesn't always have to be about you honey!
Whoever boo’d at 10:10 obviously has horrible taste in music
Gooooooose. You misheard them
Omg. After the 24th "aaahhhooooohhh" please go to concessions and get a drink, so annoying to hear that All The Time.. let it rip at the end of a tune
obviously talented in their own right but.... nah. Just simply too derivative
Bet you love Neighbor, Eggy and Dogs. 🙄
impressive jamming, crappy songwriting/vocals....like virtually every jam band going these days.
Good to know that you don't like any of the jam bands.
@@WardenJune wrong. i like Goose, Biscuits, phish, and spafford. I couldn't care less about crappy songs as that's not why I go see these bands.
@@PosterharpuaOkay I get it. Jam songs tend to suck.
