- I know there has been a lot of talk around this year's SAS, and many are disappointed. I got lucky and found some of my most sought after items though! Bath & Body Works always gets me in trouble! I decided to check out the Semi-Annual Sale a few times and found lots of treasures! I checked a few different stores and I went on different days to see how the sale was progressing as well as to see if they got any new stock or returns!

Worth going for the price adjustment... I'm happy they did it in the end. Sadly people in stores sometimes don't know their own policies.
I knew it would add up which is why I wanted to get an adjustment this time. Usually it's not too much and isn't worth driving to a store that isn't close.
Oh man, that is awful that they treated you so poorly when that is their policy. They should honor it without the hassle. You got a lot of really nice stuff!
They really made me feel like I was trying to scam them. It was so weird because they were super friendly and helpful up until then! It wasn't busy either or I would have chosen a different time.

I love seeing what you got and in which scents & designs. I can’t stand when stores make us feel bad for asking them to honor their own policies. The employees who give people a hard time only make those of us who don’t take advantage feel bad- while the “scammers” for lack of a better word, I’m sure don’t feel bad at all. And it’s the store’s policy so what’s the problem? SMH
Exactly! I even purchased a lot (as you can see) so it wasn't like I went in just to get money back and leave.

I always call into BBW for price adjustments. No problems ever. I blew my budget. I bought more candles on the extra 25% off sale. Happy Tuesday ❌️ ⭕️

Sounds like they didn’t know what they were doing. There is a price adjustment key. They press it, scan the receipt and poof! System automatically calculates your adjustment.
They definitely did not know about that! The one who ended up helping me said the other one was the boss, so maybe the info just didn't make it around to everyone? That's really good to know if I ever try an adjustment again!
Sorry that happened to you! I have only one store I do price adjustments since they are pretty chill and knowledgeable about it. It helps that there always seems to be a senior staff manager or supervisor present. Some BBW's I've tried and they want to bring back every single item until I decided I would just take it to that one speciic store. It's legit a button that they press after scanning your receipt. One store I tried to the worker seemed upset but I feel like it's because they don't know how to do it. OR my other theory is that it messes up their conversion rate.
*I just searched the website to double check and it is still in the FAQ section. It wouldn't be applicable on flash sales. Candle Day for some reason. Also, if you order online, you can't do a price adjustment in-store and vice- versa. They also don't price match online prices but that is a separate matter.
Yes, I had looked through their policies before SAS started because I wondered about Peach Bellini specifically since it was not available for BOPIS anywhere near me. They returned everything and re-rung it. I understand the conversion rate but I had picked up an order and spent money so it should not have impacted them. I'm really going to think about possible price adjustments a lot before I buy anything I think might go down.
I felt the same way when I exchanged my coconut milkshake candles when I tried the nasty body care of which I returned. The Mgr gave me an attitude, walked away and had someone else finish it and she followed me out of the store. I really felt like a criminal. I did call them out on my channel as well.
That's awful! The more senior associate (I'm not sure if she was a manager or not, but she told the others what to do) disappeared while the other gal did the adjustment. I get that people were ripping them off badly before, but not everyone is taking advantage of loopholes. Sometimes things don't work!
While I was watching this video I placed an online order with BBW. I ordered a couple of shampoos and conditioners that were on sale and I had a free body care product to get so I got Bryan some body wash. I didn’t buy anything during SAS. 😊

Omg that's horrible! Yes the stores are supposed to honor price adjustment if it's within 2 weeks and as long as it was a flash sale deal. I'm sorry they made you feel that way but heck yeah that was almost $40 back - enough for a whole nother haul! 😅
I was definitely in the timeframe as I bought them the 1st and was in store on the 7th! I hated that they made it feel like such an imposition and like I was trying to scam them.
@@EnglishProfStyle yeah so crazy bbw needs to be clear with their employees on these policies not just whatever the employee feels like doing at the time!

I think it's ridiculous that they don't price adjust for SAS. You could just return it and then repurchase.
I think they were just upset about it because it is in their policies to adjust if it's a markdown and not a flash sale. It was all things that went down permanently.
