Dolby Atmos is best suited for movie theaters. For at home use, I don’t know how ppl pass up adding Subpac or Woojer to their setup (wearable bass :) So for me, I am perfectly happy with stereo sound at home because I can always feel the bass no matter how loud or how quiet the sound is.

by the way, I can't go without saying; There is a subject that people who produce content on global channels such as CZcams miss. Ninety percent of the world is not spoken in English. My entertainment setup is about five years old so I would say about 95% is Dolby Atmos. It a rare occasion for me listening in stereo. I think younger generations tend to be more mobile or using mobile phones for most of their content so stereo improvements would be more impactful.🖖
I have a nice 5.1.2 system but there are still times where I use stereo. Headphones, laptop, phone, tablet. Etc.
