- I went to the Central de Abastos in Atizapan de Zaragoza in Greater Mexico City to show the Mexican market experience, and also to record some good Spanish vocabulary practice for all of those who are learning!
Idk why but I was cracking up when he said "you speak graet English" "yeah, I'm from Pennslyvania "
Lol.
4:24 I think he said somethine along the lines of "just got back from Pennsylvania", I'm not sure.
Beautiful girl
CLNA i could tell he was from the USA the minute he said “Good afternoon bud, how ya doin?” 😂😂😂😂
sparklysparks77 no, el dijo: “Good afternoon bud, how ya doin?”. :)

Maria Verdugo maria verduras :V
Super!!! Adoro a Mexico!!!
Im from Argentina but now im living in Virginia, I sincerely love when the gringos are interested in the Hispanic culture, I do not know but it is something that makes me happy, I hope that many more people can enjoy it. Good video!
Gringos need it more now than ever before. Any time anything related to Latin America is on the news, its never good. Never presented in a positive light. Its a damn shame.
@@georgestanko2523 yeah it happens here with some Karen type tourists as well, also we get a lot of echoing bad press regarding trump and such, it makes Americans look entitled and self driven, as well as hostile against us mexicans. The important thing is we remember we are all one big family, all cultures and races are the same and must unite as brothers and sisters, the real enemies are those who want us divided for their own gain.
I send you a warm hug from Mexico, my dude.
@@MacetazzOpina recuerdas, malas noticias venden los periodicos. Media uses drama to sell. They only show you the worst of us to sell their show, to sell their paper. It's not the whole truth. Trust me, no one here likes Karens either. And most people think trump es un hombre muy loco...mucha gente aqui no le gusta trump tampoco. Es lo mismo aqui. Solo malas noticias. Hugs right back to you!
@@MacetazzOpina your English is outstanding, by the way. I have a long way to go with my Spanish, but i am enjoying the journey.
This video just makes me so happy. Lots of different foods that i have never seen before.. Muchisimas Gracias
There is so much colour in that market!
nicedog1 that’s how they are down here! Colorful and bustling!

So true about the nopales being a mixture of green beans and okra
Ya no subes videos! Crnl
Vlog Güero I love them in a good ole neck-bone soup 🍜
Vlog Güero . Okra???
@@lougonzmart6337 okara, if it is what i think. Its like soy bean extract or pulp, it tastes kind of like dairy-ish, kind of like fiberish, but mostly really tasteless, with more of an aftertaste. You can make it have any flavour that you want kind of like with tofu itself.
WOW!! First time to your channel, LOVE IT! My 10 year old son and I are learning Spanish (we live in Houston) and we got a huge kick out of every single part of this video. Great jokes, great fun, great Spanish, great people at the market, learned so much, THANK YOU

Love the video! Great for learning Spanish
Great video, really enjoyed watching it and I learned a few things too.
Thanks Frank. What did you learn?

We call them pork rinds

jitomate is very regional.
limón and lima is backwards in Mexico, it could be different depending on the region or country you visit.
5:53 yes they do sell chayote in the states. I buy them regularly in the local market in the Caribbean and Latino neighborhoods all the time. The big supermarket chains may not sell them though.
Mi primer amigo gringo !! ❤️
Que bueno !! 😀
@Ford Quarterman.
Things have different names around the country.
In Chihuahua jitomates are called “tomates” and those green ones are called “tomatillos”. Here in the USA we called them “husk tomatoes”
The mixed peppers the guy called “morros mixtos” are called “pimiento morrón” which here in USA we call “red, green and yellow bell peppers”
Dayum boy!! I didnt know you were killing it since 2015 congrats bro I'm a truly follower of all your videos, keep it up bro.
you can get chayotes here, but they are especially popular in the South// tomates are not green tomatoes, but are tomatillos// zucchini flowers are popular food in New Mexico and probably other places in the US, battered and fried especially yum
damm gringo. that's my home town. que bueno que visites esos lugares. saludos gringo

Lo mejor del video fui el chistosito sarcastico del chilangolandia 9:55😀🤣✌🏽🤩 the best part was the guy being sarcastic while frying the pork skin, made me laugh out loud.
