GS is kinda unique in that the music and lyrics are credited to the band instead of individuals, so they all get an equal cut of the royalties. They also started self-producing so they are in complete control of their music. Everybody contributes ideas and they critique their work as a group. Another favorite of mine is SCANDAL who just celebrated their 15th year together.They recently formed their own label and have taken over complete control of their music as well, and as a result they've explored a wide variety of musical styles the past 5 years. They don't share royalties, but lately they've all been contributing music or lyrics, and they seem to be pretty involved in the production side as well. It's nice to see two long-lived bands with stable relationships and limitless futures.

The best pronunciation guide I can come up with is (Gotcha Rick said as one word) Spin. I think these ladies have investments in an energy drink company because they are energy personified. They are ALL very talented, and Hana (Drums, Guitar, and Vocals) and Angie (Vocals and maybe Keytar) are the growl masters here, although I think Koga (Bass) and Yuri (Drums and backing vocals) might, but I haven't seen that yet. Most of them are multi-instrumentalists.
Mindset is even more awesome the Bassist is a beast on it. So FUNKY

Hi Semi... Great song..; Always catches me too... More of a 360 than a 180 though... Lol Smack in the face.. :) They are very tallented musiciens.. You need to do the music video of Mindset.. The screamer on rythm guitar "Hana" in this video, is the drummer/vocalist in Mindset, She is awesome, as they all are.. It is a very funky hard hitting song with a great video.. Hey Cepho Agreed, love Gacharic spin.. I wanted to thank you for the heads up on Lovebites... Damn, totally hooked on this band, I grew up on Maiden, they were my favorite band.. Lovebites to me has rekindled that flame with great music by extremely tallented ladies, can't get enough.. I heard they are on "hyatus" because Miho is leaving?? Do you know what that is all about?

She jumps around. They have a new full time drummer, although she was on maternity leave when they did the video for "Mindset". Hana jumps around. I think she's on guitar more these days, but I've seen videos where she and Yuri (the new drummer) are both on drums.
@@zenbastard0 They struggled for a long time because both vocalists where stuck behind equipment so no one out front to interact with the crowd. For a long time they used dancers/hype girls, and is really what they first intended Angelina 1/3 to be. They finally added a new drummer so Hana didn't have to be back there full time and Angelina has worked out better than they hoped for.
A gacha gacha machine is like a gumball machine that instead of candy dispenses capsules containing toys. We have them in the US too, but in Japan they will have entire walls of them. The name comes from the sound as you turn the crank. As a band name it fits perfectly because you never really know what you're going to get with Gacharic Spin (even within the same song, as you can see here.)

Here's my advice for pronouncing Japanese:
1) Pronounce every letter. You already got that with Hanabie, but in general the Japanese don't do silent letters. (Sometimes 'u' is unvoiced, but that's not the same as silent, varies with regional accent, and only native speakers will know if you get it wrong, so don't worry about it.) Basically, any time you see Japanese written in Roman characters, it's a phonetic transliteration, so they don't put in extra letters.
2) Every letter basically always sounds the same, so 'g' never sounds like 'j', and 'ch' never sounds like 'k'. If the word includes a 'j' or 'k' sound, then they will just use those letters. (Note that 'ch' is a single character in Japanese.) You might be asking "but what about Studio Ghibli? That has a 'g' that sounds like a 'j'." Well, "ghibli" comes from Arabic by way of Italian, and normal Japanese pronunciation rules don't apply to foreign words. In Japanese it's written as ジブリ, which is pronounced "Jiburi" (with the unvoiced 'u').

The "u" in ジブリ ("Jiburi") is voiced in Japanese, as it follows the voiced "b" consonantal sound. In Italian the "gh" is not pronounced like the English "j", but Hayao Miyazaki, founder of Studio Ghibli, mistakenly assumed the "gh" has a "j" sound. The Japanese pronounce the Maserati Ghibli as ギブリ ("Giburi").
I just saw that you reacted to The Warning song Choke, but it wouldn’t open and now it’s vanished. Their current music is signed to Lava Records and I’ve heard they are fighting to allow reactors. If Choke isn’t going to work for you you might want to try Dust to Dust live at Lunario CDMX. Usually the oldest sister is the lead singer, but in this song the middle sister, the drummer, is the lead singer with the other two backing, and their manager has a slot too. It’s a great song. They are 18, 16 and 13 when they played it.
