      Haha me too! Thanks Len I really appreciate it man. It's been great getting to share these places and stories with everyone. My next video will be of the memorial garden they have for Jim and I also visited the grave. The only gravestone I've ever seen for a dog it was pretty interesting.

      It's beautiful around the square but everywhere else is pretty trashy and anything but quiet. Ghetto took over what ever the college didn't

      It's a pretty nice town but most of the city is ghetto and there is actually quiet a bit of gang violence

      Thank you the town was made popular by a dog that people called Jim The Wonder Dog. The dog could do many things that other dogs can't do and some believed he was psychic lol. They have a memorial in the town for him

      KCVids816 good old Jim lol,

  • @pulsatingsausageboy2076

    Marshall has been more fortunate than a lot of small towns in Missouri. That college has kept the local economy going enough to keep it from being an abandoned lump of crumbling houses and buildings.

    Is this whole town a museum? Are the shops real? Looks like a set from back to the future , really cool place.

    • @kcvids816
      @kcvids816  Před 7 lety

      Thanks Tracy it was such a nice little town to visit. At one time it was kinda popular and people would come far and wide to meet Jim the Wonder Dog. The dog made predictions about all sorts of things and was believed to be psychic lol

    My favorite part of marshall is the unintentional comedy. The town is named for a racist, bigot, slave-trader; and they put up a statue to remember that racist, bigot, slaver BUT they carved it out of a black stone! The most memorable depiction of that guy is literal blackface.
