I always separate plants with water in a bucket. Just put the clump in the bucket with the water and they just fall apart with a few tugs and no roots lost.
I love watching the children help. Lil' Maverick helping his Dad with a load. Beautiful Belle planting with hope. I did that last year & it worked for me, Belle. My Daughter actually thanked me for her work ethic when she got all grown up.
I would live in that coop lol , your animals are always lucky to live with you , you do your upmost best to give them a good life , that's what started me watching your videos , to see you two making a home for stray cats that were on your property , that's what made me fall in love with your little family , such kindness , I absolutely love cats , I have a siamese called Bliss and I adore her , so seeing fellow cat lovers had me sold lol ! Tundra appreciates every thing you give her , so cute she got excited about her new toy , they are both looking in fantastic condition , I feel they haven't had such care , your videos are a complete joy !!!
I'm with you Sara, I couldn't have said it better! The fact that they drove over 800 miles to re-home Grumpy was the clincher for me! They were right and found the perfect forever home for him! For our chicks I glue the bottom of the waterer to a chunk of 2x6 to keep them from getting so much bedding into the waterer and it adds stability also.
Well if you aren't farmers already, at least you are decent renovators. Tundra was so cute with her ball. And Maverick helping to push the hand truck with his flowers in one hand was so sweet. Belle is like watching a mini Ashley, and that's a good thing.
I've an electric hen plate which can cover 55 chicks but prefer a broody hen...your right chicks grow so quick...your place looks so good guys🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪👏👏👏
Well I smiled brightly watching Tundra play with her Jolly Ball. Reminded me of the fun my horse had with a soccer ball. They are characters at times. Glad the coop is ready to rock some chicks. That will be fun to watch them grow. Belle, your a sweetie for sure. I love your determination on growing your chestnut trees. I bet you get all 5 pots growing in no time. You have your momma's touch. What stole my heart the most today was Maverick with his flowers. That was adorable.

About 10 years ago, my husband found a sprouted acorn in our yard. We planted it and put a border around it so we wouldn't step on it. Now it is about 15 feet tall. Cracks us up.
Paula Boynton my other trees dropped tons of seeds. Maples have those winged seed pods. Went out and found a sprout near the base of one, so I transplanted it where I wanted it. They seem to grow from the seed quite easily as I would find sprouts all over in my yard.

You can sprinkle some DE (Diotamaceous Earth) in your horse barn where the mule like to roll around and this will help with bugs and the flies. It does wonders with livestock and Chickens .
Once Tundra grabs the handle of her toy she'll go to town with it. Nice beginning Doug when Tundra seemed to understand you asking to move so you could get where you needed to be.
The chicken coop is great ! The grey floor/porch paint was a good addition !! Belle is soooo pretty and careful in all she attempts ! Maverick and his fistful of flowers 💐 was so cute !! Please tell me again- how old are the children now ? Both - little ‘ mini - me’s’ 😁👍 Can’t wait to see the new baby chicks - I hope they survive the mail 😮. I like the idea with the hot water tank pan... should keep your coop floor nice if you can keep the water in it. Also, we've been thinking of getting a toy for our young horse to play with cause our older horse just won't play around with as much as the younger one would like. God bless!

there is a big hickory tree behind my house and I found a hickory seedling in my compost pile the other day, so I pulled it up and planted it in a pot :)
I loved seeing Belle with her horse chestnuts, are those also called Buckeyes? It looks like what we had in Indiana. Belle sounds so much like Ashley, it's uncanny. My great niece is like that with her mom, half the time I don't know who answered the phone. I hope they all grow strong and tall for her. Tundra is such a character, she's definitely a star. I love watching horses/mules/donkeys play with the ball, they have so much fun and look like little kids playing. The coop looks good and it wouldn't be so nice if Maverick didn't help you with it. : ) He looked so cute running with his little handful of flowers to push the bedding, when you got ahead of him he'd run to catch up and start pushing again. I worked in a vet research department. We ordered a lot of mice and rats. One kind of mouse was called nude mice and they were hairless. One winter I opened the package and in the middle of the nude mice was a hairy one. Not wanting a research project to fail because of one hairy mouse in a wrong box I called the company about it. They said because nude mice don't put off much heat in winter they include one hairy mouse they call the "heater" but having tje same genetics as the nudies. I figure if we got nude mice in the winter, you will probably get your chickys fine.

You can sprinkle some DE (Diotamaceous Earth) in your horse barn where the mule like to roll around and this will help with bugs and the flies. It does wonders with livestock and Chickens .

Once Tundra grabs the handle of her toy she'll go to town with it. Nice beginning Doug when Tundra seemed to understand you asking to move so you could get where you needed to be.

The chicken coop is great ! The grey floor/porch paint was a good addition !! Belle is soooo pretty and careful in all she attempts ! Maverick and his fistful of flowers 💐 was so cute !! Please tell me again- how old are the children now ? Both - little ‘ mini - me’s’ 😁👍 Can’t wait to see the new baby chicks - I hope they survive the mail 😮. Tundra evidently loves her new toy ... will Beau play too ? We need more Beau time 🙏🙏🙏

I like the idea with the hot water tank pan... should keep your coop floor nice if you can keep the water in it. Also, we've been thinking of getting a toy for our young horse to play with cause our older horse just won't play around with as much as the younger one would like. God bless!

That is the nicest coop I have ever seen.
there is a big hickory tree behind my house and I found a hickory seedling in my compost pile the other day, so I pulled it up and planted it in a pot :)

I loved seeing Belle with her horse chestnuts, are those also called Buckeyes? It looks like what we had in Indiana. Belle sounds so much like Ashley, it's uncanny. My great niece is like that with her mom, half the time I don't know who answered the phone. I hope they all grow strong and tall for her.
Tundra is such a character, she's definitely a star. I love watching horses/mules/donkeys play with the ball, they have so much fun and look like little kids playing.
The coop looks good and it wouldn't be so nice if Maverick didn't help you with it. : ) He looked so cute running with his little handful of flowers to push the bedding, when you got ahead of him he'd run to catch up and start pushing again.

I love the mule and the pony, both are so pretty. When you guys are outside they stand by the fence and watch you. I do believe they are truly happy with you guys because someone finally cares for them. Love watching everything come together.

Leaving the feed in the coop keeps night time predators away! I found leaving feed in the run attracts raccoons and opossums.
We've always put any left over feed back in the feed bin before nighttime so nothing is attracted to it and eats it all :)
I worked in a vet research department. We ordered a lot of mice and rats. One kind of mouse was called nude mice and they were hairless. One winter I opened the package and in the middle of the nude mice was a hairy one. Not wanting a research project to fail because of one hairy mouse in a wrong box I called the company about it. They said because nude mice don't put off much heat in winter they include one hairy mouse they call the "heater" but having tje same genetics as the nudies. I figure if we got nude mice in the winter, you will probably get your chickys fine.
