My dad was a Lutheran pastor. He introduced D&D to me and my brother in the 1970s when I was about 10. He drew our character portraits by hand. The 3 of us played in the basement. My mother thought it was satanic! HAHAHA! I still have the 3 books somewhere...

Although I dig the co-op between newer and smaller tubers I have to say Ben of Questingbeast and Prof DM who along with Hankerin helped launch my DMing renaissance the last couple of years (and got me into OSR).
