I pretty sure that the cabin will return, they just don't added it to the files so maybe they will add it next tuesday or thursday when theres an update. It also feel pontiless that we don't need to do quets and we don't get the cabin either but we get rewards.

i dont see them under quests. where are they? also i claimed a free pack from the item shop (it showed 0.00) and it directed to epic games and automatically said 'Thank you!', but its also not under the quests tab even tho it showed i claimed a quest pack from the free pack

They're actually adding new stuff this year as chests will become searchable presents, the rift island is turning into Crackshot's Cabin, and it looks like there will be a new WinterFest POI on the island in the snow biome

Why y'all hating on things before they're even out yet y'all hated on Fortnite OG before it's release and some of y'all hated on chapter 5 before it released and the same thing is happening with WinterFest at least try these things before coming to a conclusion that they're the worst because you can't judge if you hate it just by hearing the news about it and try stuff before you hate it cause if you do you might actually enjoy it
