Trailer swap!! Not UK road legal? (Episode 5)

- Looking on Ebay for project boats (as always) and came across a 1999 Regal 1800 SLR Ski Boat with a 4.3 GL V6 inboard and SX outdrive. The boat had been stood on a farm for the last 12 month or so. The boat on arrival was looking sorry for herself and with having a flat battery we could not see her running. We took the risk and hooked her up and set off home.
This is where the fun begins. Follow us on our Journey of giving this boat a new least of life and working through all problems we encounter.
On this video i run the engine back to temp after finding out there was way to much oil in the engine and it was a nasty brown colour, after swapping out all the filters and new oil the problem was fixed, it looked like because she had been stood for so long and water in the bilges the oil was badly in need of changing it was a factor in the issues. also picked up a used UK road trailer from a friend to save the time and money in overhauling a trailer that i still would not Legally be aloud to tow on the UK roads.

Using a crane, that must have cost a fortune!
Changing the trailer was a good shout and the easiest way.
Engine sounds good too
Got to do things the easy way 🤣 we are lucky enough to have the crane on site so it’s not bad at all 😎 she is coming together now and the engine is perfect 🤩
