ABOUT CHANDRAHAAS EP (EXTEND PLAY)
There is a special reason for naming this EP Chandrahaas (an indestructible sword that Shiva gifts Ravana). Chandrahaas is the divine weapon of Lord Shiva which he gifted to Ravana. Here I am speaking metaphorically about my writings as Chandrahas. Just as Lord Shiva had given Chandrahas as a gift to Ravana, similarly Lord Shiva has given me Chandrahas in the form of writing. One reason for choosing Ravana character here is that Ravana was a demon and to some extent we all also have demon tendencies. We are engaged in the devotion of Mahadev even with a heart full of sins. This EP is both a confession and a dedication.
चंद्रहास ईपी (एक्सटेंड प्ले) के बारे में
इस EP का नाम चंद्रहास (एक अविनाशी तलवार जो शिव रावण को उपहार में देते हैं) रखने का एक विशेष कारण है। चंद्रहास भगवान शिव का दिव्य हथियार है जो उन्होंने रावण को उपहार में दिया था। यहां मैं चंद्रहास के रूप में अपने लेखन के बारे में लाक्षणिक रूप से बोल रहा हूं। जिस प्रकार भगवान शिव ने रावण को चन्द्रहास दान में दिया था, उसी प्रकार भगवान शिव ने मुझे लेखन के रूप में चन्द्रहास प्रदान किया है। यहां रावण का किरदार चुनने का एक कारण यह भी है कि रावण एक राक्षस था और कुछ हद तक हम सभी में भी राक्षस प्रवृत्ति होती है। हम पापों से भरे मन के साथ भी महादेव की भक्ति में लगे हुए हैं। यह EP एक स्वीकारोक्ति और समर्पण दोनों है।
ABOUT MERE MAHAKAAL SONG/TRACK
In this song I have used the famous folk song of Haryana. In that folk song, a glimpse of what Mahadev is talking to Sati is visible. In this song, devotion towards Mahadev will also be visible and at the same time I also want to tell somewhere that do not run away with temporary promises and love behind me, I am still searching for Sati. Just as the love of Mahadev and Sati was steadfast, pure and exemplary, I want the same love in my life.
