An Aerial Glimpse of Salem, Virginia | 4K

Salem (Virginia's Championship City), nestled in the Roanoke Valley area of the Blue Ridge Mountains, was founded in 1802 and became a city in 1967. It spans over 14 square miles with a population of around 25,000. It is the proud home of Roanoke College and the Salem Red Sox Minor League baseball team.
Each year the Salem Fair is held at their Civic Center around the 4th of July for over a week and attracts huge crowds. Another attraction is the Moyer Sports Complex (reopened after extensive renovations in 2024) for softball and pickleball tournaments.

Great footage! I live here in cburg and have enjoyed seeing these aerial shots of the surrounding areas. I just ordered me a dji mini 2 SE to play around with and hoping to upgrade to something beefier here one day 😂
