The British accent just adds to the value of the video and the book. Nicely done.
I have this and this video doesn’t do it enough justice. It’s incredibly beautiful. It’s a thick, heavy book and the blue is vibrant. I own about six copies of this book but this one is my. Favorite. The spine looks so pretty on the shelf. It’s unabridged and of course has the original artwork, as shown
Better than the pink cover.
Just gorgeous! What an upgrade from the previous version. Can’t wait to get ahold of this one. Thank u!
I was going to get the traditional pink one, since was missing it on my collection and they did'nt made a new design yet! This one is muuuuuuuuuuuch better! Thank you for the review!
This one is so damn cuter than the pink one🤤❤️
That is one gorgeous book!! When its on the shelf the spine looks so great!!
it's kinda sad that they didn't include the pictures from the other stories
Did you actually say you are French? You are the best English-speaking Frenchman I ever encountered.
Thank you so very much leading me to this amazing book. Even at 54 years young this treasured book makes me do the little girl happy dance. The book is absolutely stunning. :)
@@FoolishFishBooks It is...
This video actually brought me to replace my old B&N (yeah, the pink one) edition with this new one. You're right Denis, the old one wasn't that bad, but this one is unbeatable. I also checked the Easton and Franklin editions, but this one, to be honest, is the best interms of quality/contents. Here you have all you need if you are interested in Lewis Carroll works. Beutiful design, great quality even though not genuine leather.

Great video Denis! Thanks for sharing! I’ve got the pink B&N leather bound version and I’ve just ordered this one. Appreciate that you take the time to do these videos.
Are the content of the two books different or is it just the cover?
Do the Tenniel illustrations all exist in this version, or are some missing? Also, are they presented as they are in the pink cover version? I couldn't help but feel as though they look different to that version; though this is of course only from viewing a video of the pink one and this video.
Thank you for this wonderful review! And actually thank you for all your reviews:)
You found the very first one 😄
I have the pink one. I bought it long ago. I find the cover art odd but since my house is small and already overflowing with books, I'll not get the blue one, though it is prettier.
The cover is so pretty
What a GORGEOUS book to have!
I _LOVE_ this one! It's so satisfying to have Teniel's art on the spine - brightens the whole room! :)
@@FoolishFishBooks that's so true! how easy it is for a beautiful book to brighten a room. Would love to see you do a feature of all the spines in your bookshelf in a video!
I have to find it!!!!
Please could you do a review on The tales of the Mabinogion
Welsh medieval tales please I’d love to hear your opinion
Mic sounds covered in some parts, especially the middle
It is sooo beautiful! But so huge
would this happen to have the gabberwocky in it?
Yes. It's in 'Through The Looking Glass', which is the second book featured here.
@@FoolishFishBooks O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
No hay en español? 😢😢😭😭
This is where it all started
Aha! You found it! :D
LOL I couldn't tell you were french. You sound english.
I'm both really ;p Grew up in France with a French father and a British mother.
Are there alot of Barnes and Nobles bookstore's in Europe? 📖📚🏰🗼
Unfortunately not, and they have now also stopped shipping to Europe too. Luckily there is still Amazon and the Book Depository 😜👍
@@FoolishFishBooks there is a Barnes and nobles bookstore in my city Philadelphia PA.
@@FoolishFishBooks ok
Is Alice Adventures in Wonderland a separate book from Alice in Wonderland? I see both book titles
Alice's adventures... is the full title.
I have the pink and the blue. And I did find a Penny Dreadful.
Congratulations! I'm glad you were able to find one!
